Oh yes, I forgot! The Italian adventure!! Jealous central here

TTL does yummy food....and every time I go I look at the barges and have a brief fling with the thought of living on one!

I believe you... I had a very long lazy lunch in The Twelfth Lock that really warm Friday we had a couple of weeks back and it was like being in France. But I would rather the real thing!

I love travelling and it really gets to me when I can't afford to go anyway. Even a European city break is out of the question at the moment

I could always set up camp in the zoo and pretend I was in Africa or something

Anyone else not able to go on a proper holiday this year because they can't afford it ...and feeling miserable about it

If I have to smile and say "that's great!" one more time as someone tells me they are going to Thailand / Mexico / New Zealand I think I will crack up!

Okay...why I am still single (the abridged version!):

1. I am slightly odd ;)
2. I can be a bit slow to trust people
3. I can't really get involved with anyone until later in the year (long story)
4. I am a borderline pessimist who longs to be a fully fledged optimist!
5. I don't help my chances on here as I am a 'faceless one'
6. I don't like getting too attached to people as it's easier to get over it when they go
7. I'm a schmuck
