i've just become aware, that there will be no clergy, or prayer services held at the 9-11 memorial.I am not an overly religious person,but i did pray that day ,as i think alot of others did. If this is a political decision i'm sure that over 50% of the people that were murdered that day ,were people of faith. To not have a prayer + a moment of silence that day ,is a disrespect of their lives .and to the useless way they were slain. granted i'll give notice,god bless.
didn't believe this at first, looked it up on different venues and apparently it's true. I hunt/fish,but this kind of behavior is just senseless.it's also sorry that i had to learn about this from a post from Ireland,and not my local news.

i don't believe in any book burnings..be it writings by, larry flint, bil keane, or mohammed, what happened on 9-11 was horrible and should never be forgotted, but there are different ways of honoring the many innocent people that died that day.
one would think that some one would/could, take charge .bp? our pres? i really believe this is going to be a long lasting disaster to the gulf coast, and america. shouldn't one of the gulf coast governors be throwing a fit? let alone everyone else. ross perot is from texas. jimmy buffet from florida,cajun food? surely there's a way to stop the flood of gunk flowing into the water.
i just saw on the weather channel that a large storm is going into the gulf. i can't help to think that god....anybody/thing. is looking down on us and thinking what a bunch of a**hole.
