Happy Fathers Day to all the single dads and seperated dads out there.
My dad passed last year and that makes me sad. But we had some great times and we were close and I will always love him. Thats important.

I agree in the destiny thing, we are all here to help each other along in life and help with the lessons we have to learn. Not all those situations are gonna be good and I think we learn the biggest lessons when we hurt the most. The trick is not repeating the same mistakes. Thank the man for the good and bad times and for what he has taught you. HOPEFULLY!!!!! Be a strong woman and move on. By the way its his lesson to. How many women has he played? Keep Happy.

To anyone who wants to read this
17 years ago when I dated younger men no one even mentioned the word cougar. I was just lucky and having a good time. Now I would be a jaguar, I guess !!!!! Nevertheless I would still be having a good time. But I don't so I ain't.

Then they are the ones with the issues. Have you tried telling them how hurt you are, being in the middle of their .....
Its not a good way to be acting if you truely love someone. Love is gentle and kind not selfish and mean. How would your daughter feel if the shoe was on the other foot and it was you that was behaving this way. Your partner being the older one should be more tolerant and understanding of the younger generation. Do you have someone who can be a mediator between them and help work it out. Failing that,have a good holiday!!!

How happy is happy? I mean are you just a little happy or intensely happy? Only you know that answer. Do we settle for the best or second best. Yeah our kids do fly away, but they are always there somewhere. Do we show them the right road or the wrong one. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices in our lives for the highest good, morally speaking. In the end we have to use our intuition and somewhere inside I think you already know the solution. I feel for you

Been there, done that, but it was with my childrens father. Not there any more, someone elses problem now. Take care and look after yourself first. We can't do right by our kids if we aren't doing right for ourselves.
