We are in autumn but summer is late, I think it is an Indian summer or I might be wrong. The paddocks are dry and there is little feed. The rain will be here soon they are usually here, soon. Love your daffodils, from what i can picture them to be.

Believe it or not you arent the only one who makes nice compliments to women/men but in the scheme of things and the sad way the world has changed there are those out there that use these compliments as an alterior motive to get brownie points or worm their way into someones life. Once you have been on a site like this and had a taste of this situation its easy to get cynical about people and what they may want from you. I think jumping in and complimenting someone to soon before you have developed a history with that person is a bit premature and can send alarm bells ringing!! Slow and steady wins the race, there are plenty of chances to move in that direction once you have developed a foundation connection with someone. Trust/truth, is what we are all hoping for and that isnt earnt through compliments. Patience, Time and gradually building a history with a person develops trust.
Its always good to remember that to give doesn't neccessarily mean you will recieve. Anyway if you give to receive something in return then you are not really giving anything. People have lost touch with the concept of giving, They think that if they give or get given that there should be a return factor, some people wont even allow others to have the pleasure of giving without making it an issue and consequently destroying that persons pleasure of giving. Giving/recieving are seperate actions or words and are not neccessarily connected to each other.
But having said all that it s a great human quality to give so dont GIVE up!! Just find the right time to give.

Hey venere, This is an interesting posts since I am presently reading a book called "Click" by Ori Brafman and Rom Brafman the former being a psychologist with awards for excellence in teaching and positive human growth. This book breaks down what attracts people to one another and why we are attracted to certain people because of the click phenomenom. Its very involved but they have investigated this subject and have discovered that the human behaviour and thought process, both consciously and unconsciously does allow for us to have this instant attraction to someone whether it be in relationships or the world around us. It includes Love at first sight!! Other factors come into play of course but it is a real and studied, identified human behaviour.

So it could happen any time, any place!! Its posibble.

Sad but true.

But the govt said sorry didnt they So its supposed to be alright. What a crock that was. When the aboriginal people get the respect and the direction they need then the sorry will mean something. We still got a f@*^#ng long way to go I'm afraid. I wonder how many people who said sorry invite an aboriginal to dinner or interact with them at all!! Its one thing to write a speech to say sorry but its the follow through that really matters in the end, by the way has anyone ever read that speech its full of lies. I live in a community that was originally a noongar community it was taken away from them and has never been returned. They took the name of the place and changed the spelling so it was better for the white community to spell. Most white people in this town treat them like second class citizens and that has lead to racial tension for sure. The immigrants and refugees get more respect than the aboriginal culture does in this country, I find that direspectful in itself. They were once a proud people and now they are but a shell of who they really should be. Respect!!
It is an awesome culture and they are awesome people just a little lost.
By the way we teach our kids many languages in aussie schools but we dont teach any aboriginal dialect!!
