What if I appear to be a catch but, in reality, I'm a wreck and need to be saved???? I have my suspicion that the real "wrecks", be they male or female, will generate much more interest than the ones who appear to be the epitome of stability. True?
I suppose I'm in the minority, philosophically, anyway... but I think this is BETTER than the bar as one can learn what people are about on the inside and get a glimpse of the exterior. At the bar, one can see the outside and, if they're lucky, get a glimpse of the inside. This medium seems far better than the bar. Now... all of that said... I've had little success on these sites. Lately, I've been putting up new pics that don't show me as 40lbs heavier... and the traffic appears to be increasing... so maybe my luck is about to change. We'll see. :)
Hmmmm.... as with any other day.... my tripple shot latte and a computer to interact with the world (not necessarily in that order). Gee... is that sad? No, I don't think so. I think it's a positive comment on our tech abilities that allow us to sit in a coffee house and interact in so many ways never before possible. I suppose it goes without saying that my Utopia will eventually materialize out of this vast medium.... in the way of a soulmate. :)
At the risk of talking out of both sides of my mouth, I'll give you two answers. First, the best and strongest relationships are comprised of two individuals. I'd think "alone time" is just those mements when we work on ourselves. Second, since I'm already a strong personality and didn't require much alone time in my last relationship (we did EVERYTHING together), I'm not sure it's a necessary thing. Hard to say.... maybe it has to do with levels of self-confidence on the part of the individuals.
Ultimately, I think "alone time" is a necessity if one so desires... but that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with the relationship.
Ok.... because I'm new here, I don't really know what the hostility could be about... but that innocence also allows me to remind everyone that we only need "the one". Putting up with a million toads to find the prince is still a pretty good return on investment. :)
