on the hi-jack thread a topic just came up regarding allergies nd what not, so just curious did anyone here ever go on a first date nd brought flowers, sweets, chocolates or whatever romantic gift that completely backfired due to the date being allergic or turned of by that gift for whatever reason nd turned the start of the date into a complete disaster nd how did ya get out of it?
ah the site does work for some, there was a cs wedding last year nd just a few weeks ago sugar & alpha who got together tru here last year announced that they are expecting their 1st baba in November (congrats btw if your looking in ) and couldn't be happier
so i guess this site (or any other site for that matter) is the same as going to a pub or club or any other place one goes, you could bump into a partner when you least expect it at any given location
what i ment was tho when ya sign up for your profile you have to give age, location, gender etc etc, then you have the section where you have to discribe yourself .... the " i'm a happy go lucky 30yr old bla bla bla" seems to appear in every second profile, and as sally pointed out they are rarrely updated
seriously tho, yes it would put me off to some degree, (it kinda baffles me as to why they put their age in the description in the 1st place) but to be honest how do we know any of the pics are up to date unless we know a chatter in person?? it is widely known that most chatters will pick a pic for profile proposes that makes them look good irrelevant as to wether its outdated or not
