thx for your well wishes, i have a long ways to go but i will get there
in reply to some comments, yes its not until a crisis moment till you know who your real friends are and sadly i also found some family members that left me down badly, on the other hand there were also some pleasant surprises from some ppl who were just down right amazing throughout my ordeal and still continue to be so today
needless to say my xmas card list will look somewhat different this year compaired to last year
so how well do you think you know your family and friends?? reason i'm asking, i had a serious knockout just over a month ago healthwise which resulted in me having to undergo 8 hours of emergency surgery, a few days in I.C.U. and a few weeks in hospital and i will need more surgery in time to come, so basicly the next 12 months or so i am sidelined and out of action
anyways it was a shock and some real surprises as to find who my real friends were and who were not so real and the same applied to my family, the ppl i thought would be there for me left me down badly and ppl i wasn't expecting anything from upped the stakes and went out of their way big time to look after me and my interests, like it was a real eye opener, some ppl i thought i knew well, it turned out i didn't know them at all
i guess its true what they say, you never know until you're down and out when you find out who your real friends and family are, have a look at yours and see who you think you can count on and who not, just don't take anyone for granted to be there for you as they will be the one's that will surprise and shock you the most
bought one the end of october last year, used it for bout 2/3weeks to kick the habit, had smoked for for over 30yrs and was smoking about 30 to 40 a day before i packed em in, i have been smoke free over 6 months now and never felt better
seen electric lawnmowers for sale in Lidl at the moment, 69euro with 3year warranty, looked a decent enough unit complete with grass collection box etc
not really, i've always had dogs and they are part of who i am, if a human wants to become part of my life they will have to accept that, if they dont its simply; NEXT
thx, i'll never be skinny or fit as they say, last 10 years or so i was always around the 17/18 stone mark (the joys of a truck driver) so this is the lightest i've been in a long time and i aint finished yet
considering i was nearly 21stone at xmas (gave up smoking last year and the weight just piled on) i'm back down to 16.5 stone so happy out and headed the right direction
news just coming through that 2 bombs have gone off at the finish line of the Boston marathon, 3 reported dead so far and many injured, is there nothing safe anymore
soooo eventho most woman have say looks, weight etc dont matter, its whats inside that counts bla bla but yet they wont post their weights as it could scare off dates ...... ummmmm if a person dont wanna date you because of your weight then they not worth knowing
why do ppl put so much presure on eachother for a 1st date?
if you get chatting with somebody and you get "click" does it really matter where you meet? surely when you chat with somebody for a lil while you would find a point of mutual interest, be it gaa match, a walk on the beach (tho i never got the appeal of that one ) cinema, pub, a festival, night at the races etc etc whatever the mutual interest may be and take it from there, seemples
Soooo
took a mid term break :D
