yes, but how do ya do that if your stuck in a cicle of friends, most of them possibly in relationships nd ur just there to make up da numbers? like its easy to say get out there nd meet new ppl, specially when the local entertainment scene i.e. pubs etc is dead
tho ageeing with you to an extent, if ya look back on my "pubs" thread its obious that many ppl stay in their own circle with house party's etc, which makes it kinda hard to meet fresh blood
i signed upto this thing with an open mind, if i get to meet that special one great, if not no harm done, but i have to admit i'm here more for the forums than the dating at this stage
personally i'd never place an ad in a paper, but in a way arent we doing the same thing here with our profile's? like u'd be amazed at how many ppl still dont have access to the internet and by placing an add in the papers etc might be the only means they have to contacting or being contacted by anyone outside of their own circle of friends
