have had a few job offers in the UK nd am very tempted to go, have a few tings to sort out here over the next cpl months, but after that i could well be outa ere
kinda funny when ever a profile pops up (scuse da pun) of a dude with his bits standing up for the parade, da gals go nd etc, yet all these dudes get a thread dedicated to them so that all da gals (nd a lot of boys ) can go nd have a look
thats what i would have thought too, perhaps she wanted a replacement daddy who would not have to share his time between his nd her kids
like i can understand a single person without kids to be reserved about getting involved with a person that has kids, eventho its not nice to be turned down for that reason, i can respect that, but to be turned down for having kids by a person that has kids them selves was a new one to me
my ex went for her 4th test few years ago, she thought she got on great but when they got back to the office da tester told her she had failed again, so she asked him why? nd this no joke, the tested walked upto the window nd pointed at the 1st crossroad they drove tru just down from the test center nd said "you do know there are traffic lights there no?" turns out she had never seen the traffic lights nd drove straight tru a red light at the very 1st crossroad she came too
lets just say a thread entitled "rhubarb" extensively dealt with the matter nd got a lil over heated hence it got pulled down by the mods, not sure as to how many if any bannings resulted from it
bout 10yrs ago a m8 of mine bought a 1970 chevy impala a nice oversized 2ton+ yankee tank of a car, anyways he came back to my yard to show it to me nd said the engine runs sweet nd is very quiet but its got no power .......
so i opened da bonnet to have a look ......
instead of the 5.7 v8 300+bhp muscle engine that was ment to be there i found a lil 1.6 opel ascona engine that had bout 60odd bhp, da clown had bought the car without ever looking under the bonnet
hmmmmm ..... i am a lil bemused by this one to be honest, like if ya light one up in a car 1st thing ya do is open a window regardless of the weather (least i do anyways) nd the drive wind sucks the smoke out of the car, or with cars that have aircon you'd turn that on, thus cleaning the air, so as a general rule i'd reckon smoking in a car less harmfull to a child than it is to smoke in your own home where the smoke just lingers around
yes thats correct, as pointed out the €100 household charge has nowt to do with the watercharges, its to go towards the upkeep of footpaths, streetlights, hedge cutters, sewers etc the general upkeep of our towns nd city's nd villages.
geezzz .... most places in the world you have to pay for the "privilege" of having clean drinking water plumbed into your homes, so why should Ireland be any different?
not sure as to where the sum of €500 watercharges comes from as mentioned by the wolf as each house will get 40liters per day FREE before your being charged, so its kinda upto ourselves to stop WASTING water and use it sensibly
dont get me wrong i aint happy about it, but i aint gonna make a big deal out of it either, there are billions of liters of water wasted in this country each year, think it was long overdue that we were made accountable for it
RE: Getouta Ireland
ummmmmm ..... reckon your toddler will be an adult before this resesion will pass
