I have stated on my profile that I have children so me know from the get go, I presume if they contact me then they know this and it's not an issue, otherwise they could just mosey on along as they are not the right person for me I love my children and it hurt's when fellas do this.... I know personally I wouldn't do this..I think if you like the person(or love the person)you must accept all that comes with the relationship,but I would imagine it happens a lot as some guys feel they've done all the rearing and raising of kids that its something they are not willing to take on..
well if they run just cos you've got kids
maybe they werent being genuine to begin with
on the plus side theyre taking themselves out
of the running it saves you wasting your time on them .

Cant' say it's been a problem for me, I usually have the "I have kids and they will always come first, if that's gonna be a problem ya can walk now" conversation at the early stages.
In sayin that, I've found that some guys have a problem with me not being too sure if i want anymore kids or not even when they aren't sure if they want of their own or not...

I can't say it has ever bothered me, but I guess I can see why it might stop some lads wanting to get involved.

I've never experienced it from a woman but that being said I'd be of the opposite viewpoint. There would have to be kids somewhere in her life for me to be interested...I think it takes somebody with kids to understand that I have to put mine first...

everyone has an ex,kids or not..yeah they are still in the kids lives but not the mums/dads,we maybe parents but we that shouldnt stop us from finding love!! and just because u get involved with a single parent doesnt mean u got to take on the kid,you just need to accept that they were there before and always will be..they will always just have one mum and dad at the end of the day

i must admit it is very hard to date someone who doesnt have kids now i always dated single mums before i became a dad i just think its nice to to give that person a chance and i dont mind atall dating single mothers who have kids i think people have to be open minded these days and we shouldnt be judged because we have children i hate that phrase that say baggage it really annoys me.sorry for the rant.

yeah i think its easier dating a single dad too because they know exacly where u are coming from !!who ever says kids are baggage will learn when they have there own,then they can see what it feels like to have the love for a child
