I dated a woman a few years ago who had 2 kids. They were nice kids but she wanted me to take over as a daddy to them even though neither of their fathers paid anything although they did still visit them.

thats what i would have thought too, perhaps she wanted a replacement daddy who would not have to share his time between his nd her kids like i can understand a single person without kids to be reserved about getting involved with a person that has kids, eventho its not nice to be turned down for that reason, i can respect that, but to be turned down for having kids by a person that has kids them selves was a new one to me

If there was daddies involved why ask you to take the role
was that purely for financial reasons? IMO if any child already has a daddy involved why confuse the child by adding another daddy? Yes a good role model or friend would suit that situation but not another daddy
