They do what they do and surive off the backs of us hard working citizens that's why they can afford to do what they do.We're supposed to be a rich country but we can't even take care of our own people.There should be people losing their homes and being homelesss and jobless.There ws a man who had worked for years at his job but yet he becomes unemployed and he's expected to go back to school to learn the same skills he had for that very same job.Something is very wrong with that pciture.But yet we can find ways to allow illegals to work and live here.And they're not even aplying for US citizenship status.I got called being unpatrioic more then once cause I stated that I was ashamed of our country.What was so funny was that I was expressing my experiences that I've lived and my family before me lived.
With the economy the way it is I've learned how to make one dish meals and clip coupons.The shame is since I was a stay at home mom I never really had any money put away for a rainy day.Worked some prior to marriage and having kids.But now that I'm on my own I work as a store clerk for a small wage and recieve widows benefits which just barely pays for my food,clothes etc.I've had to have rummage sales sometimes to raise money that way.I don't have a thremostat to turn up or down.I have a small floor heater which keeps me warm except for super cold weather.I just dress extra warm and have an eletric blanket to keep me warm during the cold evenings in bed.I know there's people worse off then me so I don't really complain.I've never had an awful lot growing up as a kid so I've learned to do with what I have.I may not have a lot but it's mine.
Here how Repubs and Dems are the same to me.The two parties who pretend to be different when the whole time are representing the same folks at the top.
The very same thing you describe regarding to qualify for food stamps etc.Or when our own government can put complete strangers over it's own people isn't right.
Well I messed this one up good so that I can't even understand it myself.
My most memorable Christmas was when I was little and my brother who was then serving in vietnam at the time sent me some money for Christmas.I took that money and bought my mother some shoes cause the ones she had were worn.
