What is Wrong With the World Today? By Richard Singer
If you don't live in a vacuum I'm sure that it is quite obvious to you that the world is not doing very well these days or as a matter of fact it has not been doing very well for quite some time. Why is this? Is there an answer? Is there a solution? Well, I've come up with one simple reason, one simple answer, and one simple solution.
How can the state of the world be summed up simply you may ask? Let me answer briefly:
Since the beginning of time human beings have separated themselves based on stupidity. Yes, I said stupidity. This separation has been mainly based on differences in appearances. If this isn't plain stupidity I'm not sure what is. This type of thought system is at best extremely immature. Children when developing intellectually pass through a stage where this is normal and can be excused because it is a phase that must be travelled to develop. It seems that a majority of the world's population became stuck in this phase. We see it everywhere; from leaders of countries to high powered executives right through to so-called men and women of God.
When are human beings going to wake up and move beyond this childish stage and actually realize that we are all simply human beings in the same boat we call life. We either get together as one united people and carry on the human race, which is the only race, or we continue on to destruction. Yes, destruction, it's obvious that's what the next step is. What will it be? Fortunately, the decision is up to you and you alone.
Richard Singer is first of all a real human being who is quite faulty and still struggles with life on a daily basis, however on a wordly basis he is an award winning author, trained psychotherapist, college instructor, and most importantly a seeker of truth. He continuously searches for wisdom to use in his life, as well as helping other human beings in their precious journey.
