Death A poem about death and what lies beyond. Is death the end, or just the beginning? A journey we take, but no longer alone. Do we walk among angels, or just friends and family? Are we welcomed and cared for, by persons unknown.
Do we meet our creator, the lord God almighty? Do we bow down before him, giving thanks for our life? Will he say you’re forgiven, hold nothing against us. Will he heal all our wounds, cut deep with a knife?
If death is the end, with nothing beyond it. Then why are we here, what purpose to serve. I’d love to believe it, give thanks to our maker. Continue my journey, with vigor and verve.
If death is the end, and not the beginning. Then our journey is over, may we just rest in peace. By Ray Dawson
I believe that if you simply give food to a poor man, needy man it is the least you can do for him.Maybe he won't be hungry today. It's obvious he'll be hungry tomorrow.
If you teach someone to get food by themselves to earn money to get get food etc.Which means you can only help someone so much. But by giving someone the knowledge to "Fish" they've been given the ability to help themselves.
I've wittnessed this in quite a few families.I've seen a family members say some pretty hurtful things to someone within their family and have seen it totally destroy a family.
Like you I've always tried never to hurt someone casue I konw the hurtful things can never be taken back.
I also think that the traditional ideas of etiquette and manners don't apply to the ones we love and are the most comfortable with.
I suppose someone may also feel more secure with the people they hrut,so they feel they can act out because they have the idea that the person they hurt will always remain by that persons side. But pushed to far it could also backfire and they could lose the ones they love.
