Twins

One thing special about having a twin
if you think you're in trouble
they will let you in,
They know when you're happy
they know when you're sad,
They know when you're good
they know when you're bad,
And if you're in pain
they will always be there,
for they feel the same
and will always care.

Whats Writers Block

Writers block, writers block hanging around
I pick the pen up then I put it back down,
I search my head but not a thing to be found
as if my brain has left me without a sound,
I'll keep on scaning right through my head
for it's the only way my poetry's fed,
But it's as if I'm looking through something thats dead
so I guess I'll pack it up and just go to bed.

Defeat the Reaper

Strolling through the past
wondering how I'm here,
I alway's seem to last
When death is wandering near,
Trying not to notice
how close I brush with death,
Surely knowing I get close sometimes
for I smell the reapers breath,
Fight with all I have
way to easy to give in,
So I'll punch on down my path
my life ain't going in the bin.

Yeah! You Know Who You Are

The number one girl is the best by far,
She's my sweet beauty, a shining star
as I sit alone in this lovely bar
Can I have another beer Jess?
Yeah! you know who you are,
She's the only girl that seems to grab my attention
and the only one I would show my affection,
She's the only one I seem to have a connection
when I look at the lake I can see her reflection,
She makes me feel like I'm up with the stars
I could travel to Venus directly from Mars
yes she is the best girl, the best girl by far,
Can I have another beer Jess?
Yeah! you know who you are.

Drowning for you

I feel like I'm lost, lost out at sea
feels like my lifes over, you're not with me
The sky has turned black and its pouring rain
for all I feel is torture and pain,
the waves keep crashing all over my ship
rocking my boat and making it tip.
Now I am drowning, drowning for you
but you won't save me so what shall I do.
I keep on trying to surface for air
I raise up my hand but I know you're not there
so I prayed to the Lord to make it end fast,
He said you have to swim boy to get away
from the past.
