untitled

In the deadhouse
Affectionately known as such
It is morbidly quiet
You shall inherit nothing
From the walls of this old shack
No signs of life
No sense of time
And no real life images
Exist in here
I like to sing and play
Night and day
All alone and without much help
There's been a lot more room to dance
Ever since I removed the carcasses
Lucky I don't sleep here
Because there's no future
If you choose to reside in the deadhouse.

untitled

The endless
Often lonely
Depressing
Frustrating
Solo
Fruitless
And sometimes pointless
Search for you
Will never cease
Until the very day
When I meet you
And if that day arrives
Only then will I
Officially end the search
For one to love me
And for me to love that one.

untitled

Today I invited a woman out for lunch
And for my courageous effort
I received the usual response
In the negative
It's not like I'm not accustomed to rejection
In fact, I'm beginning to think
That I exist
So I can be
Rejected.

Maybe
One day
I might
Gather together
All the poems
I have ever
Transferred
From inside my head
And onto a scrap of paper
Like this
And one day
I might
Make a little book
Of poetry
And distribute them freely
To those
who wish to understand me better
But for now
I shall continue
To do as I have been doing
Through the years
And that is
To continue accumulating
And transferring my thoughts
From inside to outside
Like this.
