Jonah & the whale.middle

glasses & you will surely see,In scintillating bold 3D,Jonahs desperate reality,He had boarded this shipThe cyclone descended yet he seemed at peace within his soul,In spite of the sturdy vessels plunging rock&roll, He slept soundly & calmly on his bed, The sailors shook him"Arise & pray or we all will soon be dead,They then cast lots to discover if any person was to blame,& thus it was determined' yes Jonah was his name' He said he served Jehovah,God of earth & heaven,But was fleeing quite detesting a task he had been given,
He said I'm not afraid to die just toss me overboard,I guess they appreciated honesty feeling with him some accord,So they toiled on a little but the billows just could not master, fearing they were heading for imminent disaster, So regretfully they threw him, not deeming it at all a sin As he admitted being disobedient but was anything but penitent,Then when Jonahs body plopped into the water ,The hurricane just vanished ,They were safe as Zions daughter
But there was no need for him to sadly frown, For he gladly did not drown,He was rescued by the whale; In Gods mercy &his grace,He was saved from that disgrace,I wonder did he feel surprise, being saved from such demise,If it happened these days I expect & most certainly would wish,The news would circle the globe in minutes by the TV dish ,A servant of Jehovah, running a trifle late,For an important preaching date,Was saved from drowning by a great, yet compassionate big fish,So that he would then fulfil, the Lord almightys command & wish,Then when the prophets body splashed into the ocean,The hurricane just vanished, The barque resumed its normal motion,The sailors sang a psalm, thanking their god in deep devotion,For such timely rescue from natures fierce commotion, No doubt he felt more than glum there inside the whales tum,The seaweed wrapped around his head,He likely longed just to be dead,The smelly bile is just so vile,His face so wrinkled & yellowing,Never would he slither out fit to stand before a king,The gastric juice so tart & acid,There was just no way, that he could ever stay, calm composed & placid,Read it for yourself its really in the bible,It is the honest truth & certainly no libel,He made a sad & plaintive wail, from the belly of that whale,An extremely desperate wish, from the tum of that great fish,Sent up an urgent prayer for some healthy pure fresh air, All in good time our extremely clever & most obedient whale found the right beach where Jonah must preach, without fear or fail,Then pumped the prophet out completely without harm, No cause for even slight alarm,Then turned & splashed his tail,

Jonah & the whale.first half

Consider with me if you will the incredible tale, of Jonah & the massive whale,That golloped him right down,Without the slightest frown,Then spewed him up upon the beach Right beside the town, Where God had told him he must preach;I wonder if the whale actually did feel sick,Or if Wisdom had determined some creative trick,He was a servant of Jehovah & happy preaching to the Jews,But the Lord determined he must reach whoever he might choose,But he so hated those Assyrians They had just been so cruel,Why should he ever preach to them,Did God take him for a fool,They were as barbaric & inhumane as any to ever march the earth,Skinning enemies alive torturing them, treating them of no value of no worth,Inflicting such suffering & torment on Jews in times of war,It had made dear Jonahs heart Xtremely sore,He had pondered the matter deeply, considered it very well & determined never to preach to them they deserved to burn in hell,But our God of everlasting love, gazed longingly from his throne above,Yearning that people from all nations at least should have the chance,To repent of all their sin so in his presence they could dance ,For some from every tongue & tribe & nation,To join with him in heavens eternal celebration,So when his disobedient servant sailed the other way, On this his sad & most unhappy day,He just blew gently from on high,& made the tempestuous sea & sky,Just a tiny puff, was no doubt quite enough,to make the waters more than just a little rough ,So turn on with me if you will that Utube in your brain, & youll be shaken to the core & understand a little more the prophets awful pain, One small word of caution & our show is underway , Note carefully how Jehovah both power & wisdom does display, So sit back & relax right there in that comfortable armchair,And wonderingly behold the prophets deep despair,Slip on those special sailing in the opposite direction,Little dreaming of Gods creative way to correct the bad connection,

Jonah & the whale.last part

He exited the hatch, without a single scratch, But though he slid out without a frown,He was surely feeling rather down, It was no entrance grand, plonking on the sand,So feeling great revulsion, urgency & compulsion from the propulsion,& expulsion Out of that stinging smelly emulsion,He marched before the powerful potentate, Jehovahs warning to meticulously elucidate,Contrast in dress of course could scarcely be more great,The monarchs robes so expensive, elegant & refined,Carefully Creatively designed,Regal royal dress, chosen to impress the most fastidious mind, The prophets saturated smelling & impure,As if he had just exited the sewer,But emboldened by his humbling,Quickly to the point he came,You must repent immediately or suffer everlasting blame,Turn now from each & every sin,If eternal life you would enter in,The God of heaven & earth has said That judgement soon must fall,On you & many others here if on his name you do not call,The dictator humbly accepted the prophets powerful word,& knelt in full repentance before almighty God,Gods patience with sinners lost ,we surely must applaud,As billions now from Adam & all around the world,Have believed & trusted his true & faithful word,
What if missionaries had refused to come to the land of our fathers birth,We also like those Ninivites would be lost upon the earth,So let us work & watch & pray,Not waste another single day, to spread the story, How Christ left heavens eternal glory,The Fathers gracious loving side,To that humble birth,In a stable to abide, Miraculous power in healing he so freely gave,But was finally rejected by the very ones he came to save,Humbly he hung & died,His altar made of wood,To bring all hell bound sinners back to a loving God,Soon with multiplied millions from every tongue & tribe & nation ,From every century & culture,Each succeeding generation,We will praise our glorified saviour in the heavenly congregation. The heavens will then exult & ring,With the song that angels cannot sing,Worthy is the Lamb once slain,Worthy evermore to reign....

HIS PRESENCE.

. HIS PRESENCE.
From the garden of Eden God drove out the guilty pair,
Their sinful hearts had made them unworthy to be there,
The presence of Jehovah was barred to them that day,
When an angel with a flaming sword blocked the only way.

By Abel Noah &Abraham the blood of lambs was spilt,
Jehovah god required it to put away their guilt,
Theres a river red of sacrifice runs through Gods holy book,
All pointing to the LAMB OF GOD, Where sinners NOW must look.

When Moses in the desert the tabernacle made,
So the Israelites could come to God forgiven & UNAFRAID,
The blood of innocent animals was shed there every day,
For God said ABSOLUTELY, there was NO OTHER WAY.

Upon a rugged hill one day God blotted out the sun,
When the sins of all the world were laid upon his holy one,
The veil inside the temple there was torn into that day,
The lamb of god had shed his blood to open up the way.

We give you thanks Jehovah God above,
Our Father God for your amazing love,
You gave the best that heaven had to give,
That sinners lost might look to you & live.

All glory to the Lamb who was slain,
Lord Jesus Christ you suffered awful pain,
Your heart was broken, when God turned away,
That we might know his presence day by day.

We now come into Gods presence We may enter through the veil,
Our great High Priest before the throne he can never fail,
Its finished on the cross he said,The work it was well done,
So we enter Gods presence through his one & only son,

You paid the price to buy us back from sin,
You gave your life that our lives you might win,
Inside the veil we bow with hearts aflame,
then face the world to suffer in your name.

Today by faith we know your presence God of matchless grace,
But an awesome day is coming when we'll see you face to face,
The sky will roll back like a scroll all suffering will cease,
Your kingdom will descend from heaven with everlasting peace,
The struggles of this earthly life that sometimes seem so long,
Will vanish in your presence as we join in heavens song,
& loved ones separated will be parted nevermore,
As we worship you Father God on heavens blissful shore,
What rapturous joy will fill our hearts with purest ecstasy,
YOUR PRESENCE OUR ENJOYMENT THROUGH ALL ETERNITY
