Jonah & the whale.middle

glasses & you will surely see,In scintillating bold 3D,Jonahs desperate reality,He had boarded this shipThe cyclone descended yet he seemed at peace within his soul,In spite of the sturdy vessels plunging rock&roll, He slept soundly & calmly on his bed, The sailors shook him"Arise & pray or we all will soon be dead,They then cast lots to discover if any person was to blame,& thus it was determined' yes Jonah was his name' He said he served Jehovah,God of earth & heaven,But was fleeing quite detesting a task he had been given,
He said I'm not afraid to die just toss me overboard,I guess they appreciated honesty feeling with him some accord,So they toiled on a little but the billows just could not master, fearing they were heading for imminent disaster, So regretfully they threw him, not deeming it at all a sin As he admitted being disobedient but was anything but penitent,Then when Jonahs body plopped into the water ,The hurricane just vanished ,They were safe as Zions daughter
But there was no need for him to sadly frown, For he gladly did not drown,He was rescued by the whale; In Gods mercy &his grace,He was saved from that disgrace,I wonder did he feel surprise, being saved from such demise,If it happened these days I expect & most certainly would wish,The news would circle the globe in minutes by the TV dish ,A servant of Jehovah, running a trifle late,For an important preaching date,Was saved from drowning by a great, yet compassionate big fish,So that he would then fulfil, the Lord almightys command & wish,Then when the prophets body splashed into the ocean,The hurricane just vanished, The barque resumed its normal motion,The sailors sang a psalm, thanking their god in deep devotion,For such timely rescue from natures fierce commotion, No doubt he felt more than glum there inside the whales tum,The seaweed wrapped around his head,He likely longed just to be dead,The smelly bile is just so vile,His face so wrinkled & yellowing,Never would he slither out fit to stand before a king,The gastric juice so tart & acid,There was just no way, that he could ever stay, calm composed & placid,Read it for yourself its really in the bible,It is the honest truth & certainly no libel,He made a sad & plaintive wail, from the belly of that whale,An extremely desperate wish, from the tum of that great fish,Sent up an urgent prayer for some healthy pure fresh air, All in good time our extremely clever & most obedient whale found the right beach where Jonah must preach, without fear or fail,Then pumped the prophet out completely without harm, No cause for even slight alarm,Then turned & splashed his tail,
