Innocence lost, stolen, broken, taken
So it rears its ugly head before its victim
Coldblooded, coldhearted, unfeeling, unemotional
It has pinpointed, acknowledged and picked its target
As it begins its atrocious, evil and intentional act
Unmercilessly forcing itself upon a child's awareness
Of a disease that is made to be kept a secret
Turns its victim into an untrusting, self loathing and doubtful person
Who now creates and uses his own imagination
Another world in his mind where he goes to find solace
And so the child grows up and becomes the adult
Who has also become a master of secrets
He often cries when he is alone, the hurt still there
And no matter how hard he tries
To train his mind so that it no longer lingers
This selfish and despicable act called s*xual abuse!!

Before I met you I was sad and lonely
I would often wish and hope if only
I made a decision to join online dating
In hope that my love would be there waiting
So as I searched through all sorts of profiles
I found yours among different profile styles
I viewed your picture and and it made me smile
I even read and loved the sound of your profile
And so we emailed and had chats galore
Our sole motive was to to build a rapport
The love started growing for you in my heart
But I don't like the distance that keeps us apart
You've made me believe that love still existed
My love for you has grown and I cannot resist it
The essence of love I never knew before
Has entered my heart to its inner core
Only time will tell and as it takes its toll
I openly offer you my heart and soul
