Christmas colored twinkling lights are shinning

& Christmas Music fills the air

The Christmas Angel is glowing hung high

on top of the tree with extreme care

Pretty decorations are hanging on every

Green Branch hung there by you & I

Stocking are placed on the fireplace with care

Awaiting their filling with everything nice

Soon it’s time to ride in a sleight ride on this cold winter’s night

Snuggle up my darling, under the Christmas blanket

Made just for two ~

I have something special to tell

A secret wish just for you ~

Holiday is filled with seasons good cheer

Merry Christmas greetings sounds fill the air

Kissing under the mistletoe will be very busy tonight

I have a plan for you under the mistletoe

when you to appear

It is a surprise for you, something I hope you will want to hear

I have a Christmas ring for your finger tonight

Hope it fits well and it is just right

Kiss & hold me on this special very Christmas night

Our Café’

I wet a tear for a passing Connecting Singles Poet
who pleasured the many with his wit & comments.

A regular decent guy that thought in & out of the box.
He posted an estimate of 722 Poems on C/S.

~ His comments regarding his “Exotic Tea Brew”
& his hanging, swaying bamboo cages with wild women
on Café’s island ~ was entertaining to say the least.

It was a serial adventure awaiting the next chapter
& we awaited on the tips of our toes.

His ongoing chatter regarding comments about his poems
were enjoyed by most ~ and answered by many ~

Lucky are the few to be remembered so well as the
final curtain falls.

To ask her for a date

If she does, what will I do,

A quiet dinner, a night out

For if she does, I’ll want to shout

Perhaps, we’d walk or talk and fill a book

Why man needs woman & woman needs man

To have their loving lifetime mate

Not just to have sex or just an ordinary date

Someone to care for them as they grow old

A woman needs to feel needed

She needs to be told

She needs someone to care for

she wants to be held

The man needs someone to count on

To support his many needs

A pretty face with a die for figure is nice

But a woman with a golden warm heart is better by

twice

It’s what makes his world go around and makes him

feel wanted and strong

A woman wants to be held to melt in his arms

Empty Arms

Life's path can suddenly leave us with empty arms
after a lover’s departure

As time slowly passes our arms cry out to end their loneliness with new born love!

The need to fill this emptiness sometimes is a fruitlessness endeavor

I need your feel within my arms
To know that I can fulfill our dreams

My dreams are simple ~ to know that

To know that when we look into each other’s eyes

The universal world of wanting companionship & Love!

Feel the want and desire of belonging to someone and wanting them to want you in return

Hear the crying bells pealing in your wanting heart

See the Ghosts of the past fading in your eye

Nurturing a crying heart as time passes so quickly by

None but the lonely can understand what others cannot see

The heartache ~ The pain of loneliness for both you and me

Searching in vain as one grows old for that special companion ~ that special one!

One wonders, how can it be, aren’t you searching too

Why don’t you stop your lonely search ~ choose and care for me!

But don’t despair my darling, you must still believe in destiny

For somewhere in this wide, wide world there
