Snarl of the Tiger!

Snarl of the Tiger!

When I awoke the tiger was gone

His plaintive crying snarl was so forlorn

In my dream he had climbed a tree

Jumped down and tried to pounce on me

When twilight came he lost his chance

Death missed it’s partner for it’s human dance

The snarling tiger went on it’s way further into the remote jungle’s swamp

He killed a wild animal for food on his hunting tramp
It was nature’s way

How lucky was I, that it was not me, on that feeding day

He dragged the dead animal to his lair,
where his female mate did wait

His cubs awaiting food, with their
hungry empty plate

Snarling hunger pains at him, cause daddy Tiger was late

After their supper was ate and done

They rompted and played and had their family fun

Reminds me of my family too, working hard to supply them with their daily bread

Praying the day went well, and blessed my wife for putting the crying snarling tiger kids to bed!

Yes, my dear how cute they lie their when the day is through

Yes, my darling I was happy that I had them just with you

Tomorrow would be another jungle day, for me to make my earthly pay!

Happy is the tiger to feed his cubs and mate,

But he better not come home and gave them nothing for their empty plate!

Purr!

Despair ~Loneliness in the Crowd!

Desolation of Old Age!

Oh! Howl the wolf and set me free

For in this wilderness must I ever be?

Like a raving hapless living soul, I am alone and I grow old

Roving, growing old, tis in the night oh! very cold

I have roamed and lived my life, ever thinking,
of my departed wife

The earth to taste it goodness for what it’s worth

But now happiness alludes me on this earth

Home is sadness to despair, as there’s is no one left,
lovingly, someone to share

In the night time when I go to bed, Oh this happening,
how this I dread, a feeling of the lone, the walking dead

But then the day and sunshine shines through
And I think of the love we had when we were two!

Petty not or wept for me, for someday the earth will set me free!

Give to me your Love!

Passionate overflowing Love

I relish in your love

Put it in a very special place

No need for key, it’s in my heart

I have the image of your face

It’s a lovely painted picture of your grace

My love for you, over flows

Every day more it fulfills and grows

Like watching a ballerina dance

My Love is abound in a burning romantic trance

Lips of softness that I adore

I want to kiss them evermore

Passionate kisses all aglow

The kind that leaves no questions

My love you know

To take you in awaiting arms

To feel your wondrous seductive tender charms

To kiss the nape of that delicious neck of yours

Awaits my very being

To feel your heart tremble and beat as mine

To want us to forever bind

I have such a overwhelming love for you

I know you care, I really do!

Never push my lips away

They want you so … more every day!

Oh! What pleasures you have done to me

Given me your love eternally

Never, never set me free!

Romance is in the eye of the beholder

You are mine and I am yours

Burning Kisses from my heart

Adieu!

The Cascading Stream of Life!

The Cascading Stream of Life!

Flowing from beneath a rock, a little trickle flowed

Then it grew into a pretty brook flowing thru the fields

Splashing through the woodlands it grew into a graceful stream

It cascaded from a mountain top to a river far below,

wandering to escape into the pending open sea

Like an unborn baby receiving it’s life from thee

The baby comes bouncing out upon your ever loving awaiting knee

It turned into a little boy smiling so happily

Then a growing lad of ten, finally reaching the age of twenty-three

He was a man on his way to see the world and was off and running free

He met a girl, lost his heart and now there are more then three

A family man, a handsome man, his looks are just like me!

Of course I went a different way of life, a sailor, a traveler of the sea

Life is like a flowing brook, now I seek your love, I want to live my life with thee!

How splendid is a tumbling waterfall, picturesque, flowing towards the open sea!

Terror of the Night!

Terror of the Night!

Tis the blackness of the night and it creeps into
the shadow of one's mind

Like an ever black flowing tide, overwhelming taking control

The noise of stillness is shattered by cries of manic terror

Be not a prisoner of this night of fright like me!

How did he know that I was alone, Did you tell him?

I sleep walk through the fiery stones of hell

I tremble at his very sight, for eyes of demon green
show the evil that he is

His twisted arm matches the twisted web of his being

This troubled night will never end, the music of the dead doth play, it steps upon ones toes

Beware he seekith you, this demon reaches out to
spread his terror to your very bones

He flyith out from the depths, the recesses of the darkest places of the earth, the monster of the mind

Put my soul at rest in the bed of content, end the signs of madness in the air

Where art thou prince of peace, entwined in the darkness of the night, in the wasteland of wicked thoughts?

He seekith revenge for trouble times, his touch whispers from the great beyond

Touch not this demon’s eyes with yours, for he will eat your being and steal your very soul!

The color purple comes to mind, it’s eerie etches scratch within, spiders climb it spinning web

Run, Run they are after you, poison bite take care, they are everywhere

Thoughts of growing old, and all alone, except for this monster in my mind

This master of the walking dead, awaits us all, especially waits for you

Could it be the end of time?

Darkness comes upon us all!

Dark is the Poet all alone

Tormented!

Tormented!

The illusive Dream

A quiet companion for an older man!

To be alone with so much desire in my heart

But she says I am too old and she is right, but …
I still am here lonely on this earth

… And maybe she?

I no longer can breed her need of motherhood

Not mobile to kick the ball of life

Cannot climb the rocky hills with her or hike the trails or walk around the block

But what can I do, but fall in love with you?

Wants a woman that likes TV and computer for her sports

A Dunkin Donut as her fingers plays upon her computer’s keyboard at home!

Listen to music of melodies of good taste and rhythmic beat

Good conversation of good memories of days that past

Of current events that do not last!

A quiet lady that likes her home, that is a bit old and no longer wishes to roam

Maybe a ride near the shore, to listen to the ocean’s gentle roar

A restaurant where to eat, a cozy corner to be discrete, to hold our hands while we do eat!

A woman to share … Where is she I wonder where?

Nightie ~ Night

Nightie ~ Night

Sleep, sleep the dream of rest,

Softly in your bed of night!

I think of you ... and wish

That while you sleep and dream,

That the bedbugs of the mind, do not try to bite!

And when you arise to greet the world

May the Sun shine it's rays on you!

A Ghostly love!

A Ghostly love!

If I were a romantic ghost I would haunt you for the rapture of a lover’s kiss!

Walk down lover’s lane by your side, you would find no place to hide!

Your hand would melt in mine, you would be my ghostly ectoplasm love!

For you I would materialize, to feel your softness by my side, never more to roam the halls of loneliness!

I would leave my dragging, clanking Ghostly chains and no longer in the midnight moan!

You left me for your lover and I am an apparition that lost his heart to death.

Walking lonely nights, looking at the ghostly moon, alone, thinking just of you!

Exorcise me from this walking earthly death!

For I am but a supernatural spirit, a vapor, a puff of smoke that seeks the manifestation of love’s dream which he never had while living here on earth!

Gone!

Gone!

Gone is tomorrow and you aren’t here

Gone is tomorrow to come no more

Gone is forever to a distant shore

Love has left me you’ve gone away

Love has vanished it’s not meant to stay

Love has played it’s last lover’s tune

Sorrow haunts me both night and day

Sorrow’s tune, why did you go

Sorrow plagues me without you what can I say

Why have you left me all alone

Why is the nighttime dark not like the day

Why is it your memories will not stay

Gone is my heartbeat that was you

Gone is my sunshine, oh so far away

Gone is your footsteps of another day

Cry not my heart, hear not it’s sighs

Because your gone I realize

I am sad

Darkness has crossed my brow, awake and live and do it now!

Why did you fade way!

Ahoy there Matey!

Ahoy there Matey!

Blimey, If I were a pirate upon the sea,

I would search and capture thee!

Sail Ho! A greater treasure could not be found,

A fair lassie, One with lips of cherry wine

Succulent, tasty and drunk with mine

A Saucy wench to behold and take to bed

To shore with you, as a consort but not to wed

How pleasant it would be, without the worldly strife

Upon the white sandy beaches we would lie, I with you
my willing, carousing stand-in wife

A sensuous women lying there
A booty, a treasure that no one could compare

I would forsake my blood soaked sword for thee

Oh! How happy life would ever be

Ahoy there Matey, my mates call me from a distant shore

To pirate the seas for evermore

Shiver me timbers, this poem must end

Fair winds to ye, ye be more then mee friend

Avast Ye, I must go now to plunder the sea!

For a Pirates life’s the one fur mee

Ho, Ho, Ho and a bottle of rum

Before I go give me some!

The coffee Pot!

Coffee and you!

Tis the first day to meet your date

You mustn’t hurray or be late

Spruce up and polish your shoes

Make a happy face you cannot loose

Don’t forget to comb your hair

Take a shower and wear clean underwear

Dress up casual and be cool

Don’t overdress and be a fool

Bring a gift of just one rose

Greet her fondly don’t propose

She may be nervous too

Watch the way she looks at you

Shake her hand and kiss her on the cheek

Don’t let your legs wobble or be weak

Walk her proudly to her seat

When the waitress comes to you

Ask for coffee just for two

Chit chat with your date my friend
It’s a date you don’t want to end!

Could it be You!

Lonesome for the one!

Could it be you
Desirous one to light the fire
Of love deep within my heart!

Could it be you
To be one's life companion
Oh! Please let it be so and let it start!

Could it be you
Come to me even if to journey from a distant star
A fantasy dream, where hopefully it's not to late or far!

Does it matter that you care
Of course it does
So do I!

Could it be you
Are you the one?
