Oh God, when I first saw your face
When I first heard your happy voice
When I first could speak your name..
Your name..
Did you know your name is life to me?
Oh, how I love to hear you’re happy!
Your smiling eyes, your crazy laugh
Your stupid jokes, your bright face
Your name…
Did you know your name is life to me?
Oh, when you are happy
When your eyes smile
When you laugh
How I live!

Oh God, when I see your face
Hear your voice
Speak your name

Simply waking in my simple house

Simple yawn, simple cuppa, simple cat’s meow

Ooooh… the birds singing their simple song

Ya know, the major screw ups I have made

They don’t interfere with my simple life now

I have simply grown

I am simply happy now

Awww, c’mon! For real?
That’s just illusion.
I’m not into delusion.
I feel too real.
I remember everything crystal clear.
The hurt, the pain, right now, right here.
But it’s all ok.
Everything goes away.
