Dead Flowers

As I lay there in my bed,
I look over at that beautiful vase of flowers next to me,
Thinking to myself,
About how those flowers were once in a happy place,
Away from harm.
Until one day,
the gardener came.
Carrying a tratitional grass woven basket and scissors,
She cuts each flower one by one until there are none left in the garden.
Nowthose flowers are just sitting there dieing in a stinking vase of tap water...dieing,
Just like me in this hospital bed,
Waiting for it to be over.
But all I could think about was those flowers,
Just sitting there,
Trying to make me feel strong,
Powerful,
Beautiful,
Happy.
But all they did was make me fell sad and weak,
But the dieing flowers just kept coming.
Until one day, the last flower died...
And so did I.

About this poem:
basically its about a girl from this book called "Brody's Ghost" and how she was sitting in a hospital bed dieing with lukemia. And she finally did, but all she could think about, were the flowers in the vases, that were dieing, just so she could feel better, but they only made her feel worse.

His Eyes

I couls see the look in his eyes,
The look he gets when our mother cries,
A look of horror,
A look of pure terror,
And as I saw him shed a single tear,
He turns away...
And flies.

Destryoer 3

Mother Earth gave us this Earth to love,
To cherish,
To live on,
To adore,
To cherish,
To laugh,
And to share.
But whar do we do?
We chop trees,
Kill each other in war,
And become outlaws,
And then we call them favors.

Destryer II

Mother Nature gave us the Earth to cherish, protect, and thrive on forever.
She gave us everything we needed to survive on the Earth in peace, but what do we do with these gifts?
We chop the last tree,
Shoot the last deer,
Kill our own kind for "survival",
And then we turn around and call them all favors for humanity,
Not even thinking about all the damage we have done to our home.

About this poem:
its about how man-kind is destroying the planet, and why/how they should look around and see what they're doing to the poor earth.
