Help Us Save Charlie Gard - It's going to be Hard!

I've been following the story about Charlie Gard
It caught me off guard
It's so heartbreaking that his own parents have no say
They have been outnumbered by the judges and courts and all we can do is pray
Has the U.K. become third world?
Or have the doctors and judges vision become blurred
Dedicated doctors save lives
Good Judges are fair and wise
By removing Charlie's life support that constitutes murder for this baby boy
We are talking about taking a human life, not playing with a toy
The saddest thing of all is that people in power have lost their way
They have forgotten that they too, are not here to stay
If we do not join forces to stop this madness, baby Charlie will die
Please sign Charlie's petition, let's all give it a try.

Love me, love me not

The pain of a broken heart is one of the most excruciating
Knowing a relationship is going wrong and slowly dissipating
Next a break up out of the blue
You never thought that it would ever happen to you
It takes a long time to heal and to feel whole again
Not a time to be going out with other men
This is a time to reflect on what really went wrong
To heal and once again and to become strong
Was the relationship mutual or perhaps not?
What was it that made the relationship rot?
Perhaps it all began with lust, there was no love lost
And slowly but surely the more emotional one got tossed
Respect and friendship were not part of that sordid equation
Love is built on a rock, it is a solid foundation
Falling in love builds up as a couple date
Getting to know each other well, the two love birds have patience and wait
When the timing is right, true love is finally revealed
With meaningful vows, love is sealed.

TEN COMMANDMENTS 2016

Excuses, Excuses will not do!
We have a duty in life to love, that is what is true
To forgive means to do so with all our heart
Not to place the blame on God for what we did start
What we sow is what we reap
Each commandment was written to keep
Always think twice, never leap
Justice will come to those who are good
Welcome to life just imitate Robin Hood
Give to the poor, forget your greed
Don't be lazy, hasten your speed
Remember adultery is a mortal sin
So is killing, that's plain grim
As for stealing what kind of a person does that?
Normally a lowlife or a spoilt brat
To hell with being envious, that is not the way
You'll have more riches if you favour God and pray
Study and work and you will succeed
Be the best of the breed
Love your neighbour even if they're not your type
Your graces on earth will treble minus the hype
Thank God for every new day
When you're angry, Don't insult His name, that's lame
Remember Sunday? Go say Hello
It's one hour of the entire day, make an effort to go
We've all been bitten one way or another
At times from within our own family or from another
People will fill your head with lies
They're not good but they swarm around you in life like flies
Don't listen to what these other people say
They don't want you to obey
Never forget your parents, without them you wouldn't be here
Give them a good life, fill it with cheer
A good heart is what makes man
All Sins are forgiven if you repent, that's the best part of God's plan!

Internet Set

Google, Amazon, Yahoo and Bing
Search engines with algorithms that swing
Keywords, rankings each tell their own unique tale
of failure or success, with every new sale
Twitter, Google and Facebook matter
Social networking to increase relevant chatter
The Internet is a world of its own
Clicking on links, a habit now grown
Website owners pay for impressions
Others make video sessions
Promotion and advertising are in the lead
Interesting news delivered as a feed
Whatever the topic, be it books or crooks
The Internet delivers all of these, disguised beneath good looks
Sex, drugs, p*dophile
Lunatics searching for juveniles
Harmful beings are on the loose
Bullies are trying to tighten the noose!

About this poem:
I wrote this poem in my spare time.
I am naturally a deep thinker and when I was young, the Internet did not exist. Neither did mobile phones for that matter.
I remember black and white TV in my early childhood.
The Internet has opened a new world but in my opinion, there is the good and the bad.
Children are more exposed now than ever before to the negative that social networking sites and the harm they can do when it comes to bullying. This is a very important issue which should be controlled by parents and gpvernment bodies and taken seriously.
Yes, children will lie about their age and many other things to join facebook and other networking sites but they shouldn't be able to until they reach a certain legal age.
Some people have strong characters and simply ignore nasty comments and can handle them. Other people are not so strong and this makes the vulnerable.
There are a lot of scammers and wicked people that will not stop at anything to deceive honest people on dating sites or simply steal personal information to put to bad use.
There is no point in pretending the Internet is all good because we are all intelligent enough to see what is good and what is not.
I hope you enjoy my poem.
