Winter's Almost Here

The Spring then Summer of my youth, has long since turned to fall, as winter looming large conveys, I may have missed my call.

Another lonely night remains to further rub it in, and all that I have in defense is locked down deep within.

They say that time will heal all wounds I've heard a time or two, but as the clock strokes endlessly I know that it's not true.

The Spring then Summer of my youth was gone in such great haste, that I was barely cognizant and managed most to waste.

A new day's sun begins to rise and with it hopes anew, a pity tis that all my plans n'er had a chance to grew.

Another restless heart remains awake as dawn comes near, rehashing all the wasted time and thus my greatest fear,

The Spring then summer of my life has withered into fall and looming winter promises the greatest pain of all.

We each have seasons in our lives some manage to see clear and then there are the most of us who barely can adhere.

The fall then winter of my life is firmly underway, and nothing any one can do will give me words to pray.

Another quiet night invades the clamor of my thoughts, and forces me to stop and then to clarify my oughts.

Ought to have this ought to have that I shriek but no one hears, and all that's left for me to do is drown in all my tears.

The Final winter of my life is coming closer near, the bravest thing I'll ever do's embrace it with no fear.

Farewell to You my Misery

Farewell to You my Misery

Farewell my life long misery, so long and fare thee well, now certain I’ve found happiness I pray you rot in hell.

My angel is resplendent yes she dominates the view, of everything and anywhere she cannot help but do.

The torture of my wretched past begins to fade to grey, replaced by childlike innocence and tender words I’ll say.

To catch a glimpse of such a dream is quiet a rare event, that most can never feel this joy before their time is spent.

Through sunny days and stormy nights there’ll never come a time, when any words will be enough to detail love sublime.

Embodiment of wonderful has come to set me free, a blessed perfect angel face appeared to care for me.

So far across the galaxy there must have been a plan, to take a humbled tangled mess and reconstruct a man.

A blessed dear was waiting for a prince to hear her cries, he holds her now with tenderness and she takes breathless sighs.

When stars align in God’s great plan transcending all it seems, then two soft souls can be as one and live their lovers dreams.

I Chase the Rainbow

I Chase the Rainbow

I chase my rainbow on most sunny days, through rose colored glasses and misty grey haze.

The birds are aflutter, the wind softly blows, oh where is my rainbow?, guess only God knows.

With wonder and terror I sort through the pain, of past mistakes made ones I can't make again

I picture my rainbow, the soft of her face, the warmth of her eyes, her incredible grace

My rainbow has colors of green, red and blue, with passion at levels that I never knew

I try to imagine the good days to come, my thoughts always spinning, my heart always numb.

The night brings an end to this day of despair, of hoping my rainbow will float here on air

I look to the heavens in awe of the view, and pray that the first star will make it come true.

The loud noises quiet down deep in my head, I drift off to sleep laying safe in my bed.

I doze with a smile on my nestling face, and dream of my rainbow's incredible grace.
