Deja Vu

Each day I wake up
it’s the same as before.
I learn new skills
share and give more.

Every time I wake up to a new dawn
I feel the same as when I was born.
My heart begins to ache as I learn who I am,
the pain I can fight, I’m sure I can.

I face the same things without a clue,
But repeating each days mistakes that’s not new.
I have been here time and again
it’s called Deja Vu.

Flower of Life

He offered her a flower
with petals from the essence of life
conceived and created by nature
nurtured with unconditional love.

She removed the petals one by one
He loves me, he loves me not
I love him, I love him not
Then with a defiant flicker the
candle of life and light went out

Destiny

Where to now?
Where will our destiny lead us?
Will our paths cross till our time is due,
or just wander in some direction that we do not?
Can we keep this path together or should we let go
and let the Great Lord of Time show us?
