The Quotes Garden – Part III - Two verse poems - [ I ] - O, nightingale!..

The Quotes Garden
*** Part III – Poetic lines in two verses ***
*** O, nightingale!.. ***

***
“O, nightingale, –
Merciful beak!..
***
A fairytale,
Where shall I seek?!..
***
Thy voice, so meek, -
My silence’ ,peak;
***
When rising gale,
Follow thine trail, -
***
Wither, or pale,
Lifting the veil;
***
Leaves, on the scale, –
My heart?! A tick!..
***
O, nightingale!
Thy art so frail, -
***
Bless me, to speak!
- Wisest, the snail!..
***
Thy chest, a jail,
- My love, a squeak!..”
***

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XXIV ] - Veil

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Veil ***

“Thy heart restless chirping my presence.
***
What secrets hide, beloved, canopy of heaven?
***
Lift your eyes; – swathes of high court, clouds in bliss!..
***
- Amid this world, vagueness and haze; thrive forth, -
***
(Ye!..) Fill this empty heart with the sweet pain of missing,
***
- A pale flower, may it fall upon forgotten grave,
***
(Thou -) where you hid me, Edelweiss? Clouds and mist;
***
Gaze to this dazzling log, – it burns. Thine heart, burns!
***
Remove the mask, lift the veil, - love me, or let me perish!..”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XXIII ] - Ridges

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Ridges ***

“Titan’s quest. A basalt murmur shattering squinches.
***
Sky’s drapery falls apart. My sighting, filling scenery;
***
Thy glimpse crushing look; heart’s path is narrow; –
***
- Oh, muse! – Remind me of ridges and furrows of pain,
***
(Nay!..) Fresh waterfalls breaks through from the crest,
***
- As how thy arms stretch an eagle in flight,
***
(Of) where ridges and valleys meet; which rock, hid me?
***
(To) when the slurping echo stops, in which slope, –
***
Of who’s leaning, over the greenery pendentives?..”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XXII ] - Peaks

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Peaks ***

“Father mountain swinging his children.
***
Pinnacles under seclusion. Sages to zenith.
***
A clocktower gathers the corner-stone flowers;
***
- Shush! – Thine heart, listens the spring;
***
Emerald fields chasing thy thoughts, waterfalls…
***
- Summit. Summoning clouds, in the old oven,
***
Waving wings carry the ridges whisper. Echo, deep…
***
Ancient bards sing under Heaven. Pine trees, spire –
***
Over the belfry, eyes open the night vault. Chime.”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XXI ] - Abode

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Abode ***

“Deep horizon. It feels like home.
***
Lofty peaks, ahead. Vow silence.
***
Along narrow path, hermit’s blessing;
***
- The orphan does not follow earthly ways –
***
In world of man, one eye sense freedom;
***
- The double headed eagle guarding sharpest cliff.
***
Storm is coming. Granite walls stand still.
***
Roaring lore. Rain, under Heaven.
***
A thunderbolt cresting the veil.”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XX ] - Mirror

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Mirror ***

“While liquid fire flows, revealing my whisper, –
***
Shattered, - in tiny pieces, - or binding a whole,
***
A magic world squeezed in the spin of a twister;
***
- So empty, so full; half, quarter, - a hole –
***
When about to touch me, vanishing in the mist,
***
- Amber eyes, shredding a dusk of amethyst,
***
Feel me, breath of wind, enwrapping delicate wrist!
***
Oh, queenbee, do not fall inlove of such beast!
***
Thy reflection lures me; deep oasis into a sunflower!”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XIX ] - Confession

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Confession ***

“An ocean of glass, in world of man; thy Soul is restless? –
***
Thine savage among all, wilderness to feel my freedom;
***
Cruelty is known to any whole nature uttering Sufferance;
***
- Being my Shadow, each breath brings us closer to the grave; -
***
Loving Sorrow, both - glimpse of happiness, dead whilst alive,
***
- Oh, you blessed! If I won’t be so dark, how would you shine?!
***
Here, the foul, - worst, - an idiot forgiving all his enemies, beloved!
***
O, you’ll never love this crazy one who even bless our tyrants,
***
Nor such beast, wicked, haughty, – sinful, bitter, so you may judge!”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XVIII ] - Odes

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Odes ***

“A lyre bird, missing her poet; – wild hearts, stir echoes:
***
Where’s my beloved, into which sigh, shall I bless it?!
***
Taming feathers gather strings, to a lyrical nature,
***
- The wind enwraps emerald ferns, hiding a muse;
***
There comes the bridal suite, in the kingdom of the moss,
***
Where the rain drops wisdom, soothing broken lives,
***
Where just few blades whisper, keeping lore who thrives, -
***
But for such a blessing, love, to Whom should we thank?..
***
To our Lord in Heaven, praised be! – together we sang!.. – ”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XVII ] - Hymns

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Hymns ***

“Weeping crickets mourn a grave into the meadow; –
***
Alone, at last! A rusty cross awaits my autumn’s cry,
***
Amber leaves twisting around the sparkles in my eye,
***
- And sudden, I remember; a blade of grass, - my seal.
***
There’s something to resemble, into a silent prayer?..
***
Bowing my brow, to kiss the ground, to vow returning,
***
My fingers grasp the secrets of the dew, gathering pearls, -
***
O, hymn of cruel fate! Thy blessing! Thank you, Lord!
***
Poor heart, do not despair, - in Suffering, rejoice!..”
***

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XVI ] - Choirs

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Choirs ***

“Trembling whispers, sinking in the ruby meadow; –
***
Beneath, wise snails gather in circles for confession,
***
Drilling earthworms twist great golden maidenhair,
***
Old runes glitter dreamy dew embroidery – and tinkle;
***
- There, thy steps, near the sacred root, the praying mantis,
***
With hymns, the sultry leaves bow to a sudden whirl –
***
When drops of rain, stir lumpy echoes, wake cicadas,
***
Lose path and crushed twigs unleashing sighing cricket,
***
My heart is slowly humming, to fill the missing choirs…”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XV ] - The Nightingale

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** The Nightingale ***

“Odd philomel, psalming to God, –
***
Beloved muse, to carry dying roses –
***
Night’s vault fills star’s angelic tune,
***
While cricket’s weep, to listen your meak;
***
- O, birdie, crush me among the strings,
***
A broken violin, blind, deaf, and mute; –
***
Which of my heart, like the morning star sings,
***
Which of my mind, in a cradle, a soothe,
***
If not only my nightingale’s merciful beak?..”

The Quotes Garden – Poems in a verse - [ XIV ] - Death

The Quotes Garden
*** Part II – Poetic lines in a verse ***
*** Death ***

“From life to death, a deeper meaning, –
***
From death to Life, the real blessing! –
***
A saint once said no higher wisdom,
***
Such divine beast, in world of man!
***
- If there a wish for me, the sinful one,
***
I want to learn such Lore, to slowly wither,
***
I want to feel such way, to kneel my pride; -
***
O, Soul, what is to be a Shadow, whilst alive,
***
To sing forgotten Language of the grave… ”
