“O, nightingale, –
Merciful beak!..
***
A fairytale,
Where shall I seek?!..
***
Thy voice, so meek, -
My silence’ ,peak;
***
When rising gale,
Follow thine trail, -
***
Wither, or pale,
Lifting the veil;
***
Leaves, on the scale, –
My heart?! A tick!..
***
O, nightingale!
Thy art so frail, -
***
Bless me, to speak!
- Wisest, the snail!..
***
Thy chest, a jail,
- My love, a squeak!..”
