THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp - XXXI - The song of the birch tree leaf

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XXXI ]
*** The song of the birch tree leaf ***

“This leaf
Knows what
Is love –
Shares the bliss
When buds
Like twins
Cheer the spring
With chirps
And odes; –

*** Root ***

Here comes
The shy mare
To stir
In waves
The smell of
Meek grass,
While bright
Birch trees
Play knights; -

*** Root ***

I know
Not less,
Nor more –
But all
It takes
To write
Each song
For one
To miss – ”
