Why try?
Why bother?
Why remain optimistic in this cruel world?
If you try you can fail
If you bother to care you get hurt
But if you don't then you will never achieve what God was preparing you for.
Why break down the wall?
Why put on a brave face?
Why pick up the pieces of your broken heart and try again?
If you leave wall up you will treat bad the innocent person trying to show you love.
If you are always angry and bitter you will spook you true love away.
If you don't pick up the pieces of your broken heart and try again you will trample over them until they turn to dust causing you to live out your life in loveless sadness.

About this poem:
Why I always keep trying every single time avoiding the bitterness of giving up on love. No one has to pay for the previous person who hurt you

My eyes are brown not blue
They may not be an ocean or a lake to swim in.
But they show my soul is down to earth
Though blue can be exciting and true
My eyes are brown not blue.

About this poem:
I think I was in 7th grade when I wrote this poem. I always wanted to have blue eyes I always thought they were so pretty. But I knew I was beautiful inside even with my brown eyes.

What do I look for? What do I need?
I'm looking for kindness and honesty I'm looking for a bit of me.
I know everyone is different and no two people are alike.
But I'm very unique and hard to compare.
I dance , I joke, I paint but I cannot ride a bike.
looking for someone to do things with to be fair
Like people in the UK say I'm looking for someone who's a bit of me.
