I just realized that Slim and I won't be able to make it. It's really not a surprise with the way some of these trucking companies have their OTR days and home time days policies...

Just inside the main door and lobby there is a Bar with Happy Hour From 5:50-7:30PM, every day

I went to the Airport Hotels and literally walked thru and looked at the setting, and for a big group of people Embassy Suites was the only one (out of six) capable of a large gathering, The setting was Fabulous, Roomy, and Peaceful.... It was The only one of about 5 that could handle fifty to a hundred people, and I have no clue to HOW MANY we will be!....
Anyone flying from a long distance, east or west coast, the estimated cost would be from $600.00 to 1200.00 if you reserve as a Package Deal (Airline and Motel, with round trip tickets), rental cars etc. is more, These are Suites, that have 2 beds, and Fold out sofa, so some could share expences with another and save alot..... I had to start another Thread to get the sign up sheet! tho someone going a hundred miles would just drive and just get motel fees, and cost substantially less...Embassy Suites-Kansas City International Airport Location

There are Big Meeting rooms that can be rented if we so desire and pitch in for it, Indoor Pool and about 10-15 Miles to Downtown Kansas City, Missouri

Hi Merkey an Slim, Sorry that you wont be able to make it, Tho you two wont be forgotten by CS, I do Understand Things have changed in 6 months, and also Changed for me as well, But the Show will go on, for those who care to Come, Get a Plane ticket or Fuel up the Car, But Come Meet those seeking For Love!!!! You may just be Happy that you did....
I will try to come Friday to meet everyone, tho I wont be able to stay all 4 Days, as I have Met a Special Lady Here at CS... and will soon be on a flight of my own..... Hope everyone understands this, and Just think, Now less Competition, as I Found My Special Dream Woman!

I was going to Schedul event , tho it seemed impossible to Make everyone Happy, so It was Just Left Totally Open..... That was The Participants, can Make their Own Plans....
Tho Someone sugested a pool Party, as it is in an enclosed Secondary Area....
But Yes it Was Left Open for this reason, so it dont interfere with anyones thoughts....It Is Totally Open to those Involved who do come.... and Thanks For asking....

A New Surprise, as I found Out Yesterday, a Dear Friend Broke His Neck in 2 Places and His Back in 1 Place... He is in The Mayo Clinic in Minnasota, and Scheduled for Surgury Tomorrow....
He is like 78 Yrs Old, and about 350 Lbs, and been on 2 canes for over 10 yrs....
so, All Of Your Prayers would be appricated... By Him, and His Family...
As we never know what tomorrow Brings..... and again, I may only be able to come for a Visit ... and if anyone would want to Step Up.... To Oversee this Get togather, as I cannot be there the full duration...... So Please let me know, and Just because My Life is Changing Daily, dont mean To NOT Come... the Place is still there, and as far as I know, Many still plan to attend...

tho I still have a positive attitude and see it being a Great meeting Place an the Sky is the Limit... but mostly it about getting to know one another, Just that i have been aweful busy... in my own life. But Being Optimistic!
