The plan is to go for a bite to eat afterwards. The skating finishes at 6.30pm, so after that. Checking out the restaurants in the area for good earlybird deals, so will post/email when I have details. As it's Losty's birthday that weekend, we're not doing Chinese - he hates Chinese!

just a suggestion, bewleys do an early bird menu 18:00-19:00 €22.75 (got that off their website) and its only around the corner (as time for an early bird will be tight enough)
haven't been there in a while (k for a few years as i haven't been to the horse show either) but its a usual haunt for the horse show and large numbers ...... I'm sure there's other options around also
