Hi Cool bananas, please try to make it. Come early Sunday morn or Saturday so you can spend some time in Galway. There is a B&B near Oran Mor that charges only 20 euro per night, it looks nice too. However, you would have to get a bus into town and a taxi back out to the B&B. Bring a few friends and one that does not drink would be even better.
There is a mini treasure hunt at the show. Notes are hidden all over the place awarding the finder to a small prize. The DJ will announce clues as the party continues.
I have sent an advanced hint to you with a CS flower. You should be able to figure it out.
Myself and Gera wouldve loved to come but unfortunately Sunday doesnt suit!! Wah, could do with some cheering up, would love to have somewhere to go, get all cutied up and show ye how to have a good time the Cork way. Im guessing the Galway way is similiar2!!
All I can say tessellates is, make an effort to support these new Irish singles events whenever you can and make them successful, then, instead of you having to travel to them, they will travel to you.
How about “ The First Great Cork City Singles Hooley” would you go to that? I’ll bet you would.
I know Sunday is not a great night for going out, work the next day and all. I’m working on the next Singles Hooley taking place on a Saturday.
The Galway venue says I must first prove I can draw the numbers to book their hall for a Saturday nite. Nice hall it is - so we really need those numbers.
So please, tell a friend in Cork, that would be free to travel to Galway for a weekend. I love Cork (west Cork- see my profile - partner preference) Look at your City Hall, I worked on it. Hanging from shaky scaffold in bitter cold wind and driving rain, blasting the building to it’s original beauty. I’m from Belfast, Cork people were so warm and friendly to me when I stayed there I really miss them - they hold a very special place in my heart.
Mark - how ye doing my friend? Glad to hear you will join us in Galway. It’s good to get away sometimes isn’t it. And you know what it’s like in Galway, there is always good craic. So take care on the drive down Mark and up Dun-na-Gall!
sorry i wont be there i b in croke park the day before watching the boys in green and going out piss after the game. i want to know what happend. once again sorry
stpatrick hows the plans goin hun.. ur playin a blinder.. think i might be bringin a female mate with me .. she not on site but hey the more the merrier
Come on lads.. get yer names down... and dont be sayin afterwards "im sorry i didnt go "... stapatrick is doin his dambest here,,, support him and get yer asses signed up... l
There are about seven males actually signed up from this site shabbychick and happyoutin and if you count me that will make nine. (I’m worth two)
But don’t worry girls there will be other men there. If you need more though, I’ll just go out to the street and shout - BEER - WOMEN! This always works; Galway men are like zombies when they hear these two words in combination. Even if you were to close and bolt the doors, they would be crawling through gaps in the floorboards or scaling the walls with grappling irons to get in. lol. And don’t worry if yer getten ravaged by all these hunks, I’m handing out zappers to the ladies, so just zap em and go on the next one, staff will remove the remains. lol
It’s going well Minxx. But I was sick and lost some good promotion time. Ah well; we will still make it a fun get together. Yes there will indeed be some talent coming Minx, a lot of people that never heard of CS, we will get them joined up too, so we will. Thanks for bringing your friend - hey bring yer grandmother as well - for me - that stomach bug has just added about ten years on to me. Hahaha
Sorry Musicman81 it was the only night I could get for that hall.
I had a good feeling when I first viewed it. It has history and mystic oozing out of the walls. Standing there alone, when checking it out, I felt a strong link with the past, and I said to myself, this is it - this is the place.
If a couple meet here on the night it will really mean something to them.
We are sorry to miss the chance to meet you John2. From reading your posts on the forum I can tell you have a brilliant personality; you would have been a great addition to the night in Galway.
But enjoy your game my friend. Up the boys in Green.
