Shadows lengthen as unlight fades
It used to be called,
The time of nothing to do.
Boots off and pipes lit
Small talk of work and events
The birds are quiet
The sun is large on the horizon
Absorb its rays into your eye
A panacea for all ills and regrets
for this is as good as it gets.
The night is due when all life sleeps
The world changes in the twilight
It is as though it was all for nothing
And tomorrow will be the same
But never really the same
you say
Yes, but it just seems the same
I am trapped in the machine.

You can't guess how stress affects inside,
How many times I've lived and died,
Inside this mind of mine,
I've lived countless lives,
Lied countless lies,
Sighed countless sighs
Cried countless cries,
Dried countless eyes,
Written countless lines ,
Finished countless rhymes,
And spit them countless times,
Exactly how many?,
Your guess is as good as mine,
I can't be precise,
I can't count that high...

Looking at your profile in my eyes view,
I will capture your look, this elegance and grace,
this portrait will be the essence of you,
such beauty encapsulates your face,
using my fingers to draw the contours of your flesh,
to bring to life this pulsating you,
using colour and hues to make you fresh,
bringing this canvas alive for others to view,
your eyes so gleaming and bright,
soft and pouted vibrant lips,
all will see this light,
creating this masterpiece others will want to kiss,
I will fade one day but you will always be in sight.

About this poem:
Having an artistic bent, yes I can draw but it has been many years since I actually did so with a passion so thought of the emotions and feelings one goes through when trying to capture something on paper, canvas or even in your mind.

I got off work early
It was such a nice early Christmas present
45 minutes to myself
Where I won't have to work like an elf
I sang We Are Young by Fun three times in my car
I drank two Mt. Dews cause 21.5 miles is far
When you don't have your sleep
You spend most of the day at work trying not to weep
I played on the computer because I could
I listened to a Republican speech by Clint Eastwood
I listened to Will Ferrell getting yelled at by a little girl
She wanted her rent
Will hadn't put money away like nuts to a squirrel
Money is nice
But is has it's price
You can spend your time making money
Or spend your money making time
In the end it isn't worth the dime
Give me my day off so I can rest
This place feels like a hornet's nest
And I'm tired of getting stung

On the stage she stands
Her naked curves on display
Spining polvolting
She caresses her pole tight
Legs wrapped hanging
Hair touching the floor her bossoms hanging displyed for her ordiance
Cheer shouts for more
Money falling from the air
She displys her angelic curves gyrating the music blasts
Sensual slow
The ordiance on heat beging for more
Her slow rotations her bossoms and sweet lips her muff defying gravityshe give them plenty to see
The voyouer her ordience begging for more
One last twirl she gathers her wod of notes her payment paid in full
