My little Brother being just a toddler at the time, added washing up liquid to the Goldfish bowl ... apparently he just wanted to clean the water for the fish Anyway you can imagine the results ...
Glad to know your Brother didn't have a real guillotine at his disposal ... or did he ? ... . Makes me wonder if he knew about that old "Saw A Lady In Half" trick as well ?. In any case, i think you had a lucky escape there
Funnily enough, there just so happened to be the old Superman television series screening on the telly... as well as a Japanese series called "Samurai" you may recall ?. But being a fan, i had even painted a helmet in Samurai colours and wore it whilst riding my little scooter around the streets as well
Believe me, it wasn't easy lying to Mum, but just found it so hard (and ashamed) to tell the truth in that situation... In fact later in life my Mum use to tell me i was too honest for my own good... i sometimes think i would of been better off if i did lie my way through life
I reckon your Daughters were relieved to of finally paid off the $600 debt ... probably after much consternation too ... But these (glass) stories recalls the memory of myself as a young lad at approximately 8 or 9 years of age playing alone in the back yard. For some reason i entertained the thought of doing something daring (and stupid) and looking at the glass backdoor leading out from the laundry, decided to run straight at and through it just for fun. And so i set off as fast as my little legs could take me, and just before i impacted the glass, i had at least enough sense to offer my face some protection by raising my arms in front, as well as bracing myself before leaping and smashing my way right through the glass door. My Mum hearing the calamity came dashing into the laundry to my aid and checked me all over. Thankfully i was unhurt and without a single scratch ... unlike the trashed door. My mum asked me what had happened ?, but naturally feeling bad as well as crazy, i lied to her simply stating that i was running towards the door to come inside when my foot tripped on the step and i couldn't stop myself crashing though after stumbling... she accepted my story and was just thankful that i was unharmed. Anyway not sure how much the glass would of cost to of been replaced, but fortunately with my Dad being a Glazier by trade, didn't have to worry about the labour costs involved anyway. I never did tell my Late Parents the truth later in life.... bless them
Many years ago my late Mother told me the tale about the time she and my Dad took yours truly along to visit some friends of theirs when i was just 2 years old. As it happened their friends had a Daughter of a similar age to myself, and so we quickly became friends ourselves and began playing nicely together Well, our parents briefly left us alone together whilst they went and gathered refreshments for themselves from the kitchen. Upon their return to us they were shocked to discover my little girl-friend standing right beside me totally naked Despite being such a short amount of time, it was established that i had apparently removed ALL of her clothing ...
I'm not sure if we were ever invited back there again ... at least i doubt i was
Okay, let's hear your naughtiest stories fellow Members ....
