I have a friend that does this - every man she dates, she falls in love with and tries to make it "work out" way too soon.
I have faith that I will find the right person to share my life with - and I have some valuable friendships to hold me through. I don't feel I miss out on romance, even if it is missing in my life right now.
I prefer hard-covered books and I have some first editions signed by the author - I turned my living room into a library looking area. Most I have read.
I also have 8 bankers boxes full of paperbacks which I read and now must find a place to sell - or trade at a used book store.
oh, got thing to do for the begonia - I will try it. the weather is so good for flowers here - the soil - not so much - it is mostly coral rock or the organic stuff I buy and use in the containers.

this is South Beach, City of Miami Beach, Florida - a crowded beach is not everyone's idea of relaxing. I like crowds..... I don't like mobs, unless it is a flash mob.
A memory my family still talk about - well those that are left.
On a summer trip returning from Costa Brava back to Germany (our family was stationed there for my father's military service) we stopped at this roadside place where they were selling fresh baked bread and had at another place gotten fresh tomatoes.
Simple meal of french loaf and tomatoes, with family all together, at the end of summer - sharing all the things we thought and felt about the sights of our travels. And the bread was so fresh and those tomatoes ripe and juicy.
