Matthew 24: 37 - 39

"But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

Why does she bother you?
Do you feel threatened?
If you do not like the subject matter, you do not have to read her posts.

For every bible thumper that leaves or gets kicked off, they will be replaced by a couple of new ones.
So why all the big fuss because we lost one?
Go ahead and thump your bibles..slam 'em down on the CS desk. I don't really care. I can always read 'em or ignore 'em,no big deal either way.

I may not agree with what she says, but I will have to agree with her right to say it. Freedom of speech is integral to our rights as individuals.

I think perhaps we are both pushing the same point here, like i said before, If she was removed for flooding the blogs then yes, fair call, she deserved to be removed.
If she was removed because people didn't like the content of her blogs then she didn't deserve to be removed.
All i'm saying is that the rights of free speech be honored and as things progress in this blog it is becoming more apparent that she may have been removed for flooding.

I'm not seeing the blog you refer to, Sas. I'm sorry to see her leave. I never had a chance to write down the verses she mentioned, either. Her topics would have made some great sermons for my ministry.

Jesus saves

?"You know, people say that today. "Oh, I am just a saved sinner."
That is like saying you are a married bachelor. That is like saying
you are an honest thief, or a pure harlot. You can't be a saved
sinner. You are either saved or you are a sinner. "Thou
shalt call his name Jesus. He shall save his people from their sins."
He saves us from sins that we have committed and from committing a thousand more that would meet us at the judgment."

Traditions of men

If, as professing to be of Christ, we celebrate the traditions of men because we desire the approval of men, who is our God?

How often do we celebrate the things of man and say "well, God knows my heart" ?

If we worship in a manner that is not specifically mentioned in God's word, then what does that say about our heart?

How does God's word define worship???

Romans 12
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Important truths concerning true repentance:

Sin and repentance are personal. The one who committed the sin is the one who ought to repent of that sin, and nobody else can repent of that sin except them. In the Bible, you never see God commanding people to repent of a sin which they didn’t commit, nor do you ever see anyone in the Bible repenting for someone else’s sin. What is repentance, but the determination not to commit the sin again? It is a change of mind about doing it. And therefore, nobody but the one who committed the sin is capable of repenting of that sin. You cannot “change your mind” about something you haven’t done.
“…we must of our own free will repent toward God and believe in Jesus Christ. This the Bible plainly teaches; this experience abundantly supports. Repentance involves moral reformation. The wrong practices are on man’s part, and only man can correct them. Lying, for instance, is an act of man and one for which he must accept full responsibility. When he repents he will quit lying. God will not quit for him; he will quit for himself.”3 He also said, “God cannot do our repenting for us. In our efforts to magnify grace we have so preached the truth as to convey the impression that repentance is a work of God. This is a grave mistake, and one which is taking a frightful toll among Christians everywhere. God has commanded all men to repent. It is a work which only they can do. It is morally impossible for one person to repent for another. Even Christ could not do this. He could die for us, but He cannot do our repenting for us.”God said, “Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die” (Eze. 18:30-31). And also, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon” (Isa. 55:7) God “commandeth all men everywhere to repent…” (Acts 17:30).

All throughout the Bible we see that God commands men to repent. This means that repentance is man’s own free choice. What does God command if He is not commanding our will or choices? A command is a declaration of what type of choice you should or shouldn’t make. It is the will which is the subject of a command. God’s command to repent implies that repentance is man’s choice.

Christians beware

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall DEPART FROM THE FAITH, giving heed to SEDUCING SPIRITS, and DOCTRINES OF DEVILS; (1 Timothy 4:1)

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, IDOLATRY, WITCHCRAFT, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, (Galatians 5:19-20)

There shall NOT BE FOUND among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. THOU SHALT BE PERFECT with the Lord thy God. (Deuteronomy 18:10-13)

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Twilight, Disney or any other occult related films and literature must NOT BE FOUND in your home! Parents keep your children from the dark influence of the occult and DO NOT celebrate the occult filled and idolatrous holiday Halloween! BE PERFECT with the Lord thy God! You CANNOT be perfect in His sight and participate or allow SEDUCING SPIRITS and DOCTRINES OF DEVILS, i.e. the occult and heresy into your lives. A friend of the world is an ENEMY of God!
Unfortunately, many professing Christians will look to the stars or read a horoscope long before going to the word of God for truth. True believers who love the Lord and truly understand what it means to serve Him will shun such practices and warn others to do the same... and godly leaders would do better to warn new believers and reinforce these truths among seasoned believers! Sadly, many of the churches are silent and some even sell Harry Potter and the like in their bookstores as they make merchandise of and deceive many.
