Put On the New Self
Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

All who belong to the Lord will long to please Him which means we will obey Him and hate what He hates, The word of God clearly shows us that He has become the source of salvation to those who obey Him.

Hebrews 5:9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,.

It's really very simple, When we love someone then we long to please them in everything we do. So if we truly love the Lord do we not also long to please Him? especially since it is Him who we love above everyone. In the following scriptures the Lord tell's us who loves Him and who does not!

John 14:23-24

Do you admit that you are a GUILTY sinner, under the condemnation of God's LAW, deserving of Hellfire?
Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God (God in the flesh) who died upon the cross, sacrificing His precious blood to pay for your sins? Do you believe that Jesus was buried and rose again three days later?
That is the good news of the gospel... Jesus DIED, He was BURIED and He is RISEN!
If you'd like to be saved, simply come in your heart as a guilty sinner and BELIEVE upon the Lord Jesus Christ
Salvation is NOT found in a religion or good works, but in a Person... The LORD JESUS CHRIST!

There is no weapon on earth more powerful than the Sword of God's Spirit, which is the Bible (Ephesians 6:17). It is critically important that every believer memorize Scriptures. In Psalm 119:11, the inspired psalmist wrote, “Thy word have I HID IN MINE HEART, that I might not sin against thee.” It is important that every believer memorize helpful key passages of Scripture, to help them live for the Lord and fight against the Devil. There is no friend like the Bible, especially in time of tribulation and need. John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” The Holy Spirit of God reminds us of Scriptures that we have read or heard to help us.
No eyes has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.
Mark 8:34-36
And He summoned the crowd with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul?
