A CHRISTIAN IS AN AWE-STRUCK PERSON. HE HAS A REVERENCE FOR GOD IN HIS LIFE, SPEECH, ACTIONS AND HIS WORSHIP. Exalt the Lord our God,and worship at His holy hill:for the Lord our God is holy. God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints,and to be had in reverence of all them that are about Him.'The more we see the vastness and greatness of His holy character the more we will be filled with holy awe in our lives as Christians !
Isaiah 66:2
“For My hand made all these things,
Thus all these things came into being,” declares the Lord.
“But to this one I will look,
To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.
Psalm 34:15-22
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
And His ears are open to their cry.
The face of the Lord is against evildoers,
To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the Lord hears
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
He keeps all his bones,
Not one of them is broken.
Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.
For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
"Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch." —Mark 13:35-37
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” Amen!
In less than a second our physical bodies, each with its own pain, limitations and weaknesses will be CHANGED into an incorruptible body. Our new bodies will be perfect. Amen!
Oh, that the Lord would return today!
Luke 17:24-29 . . .
“For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.”
These Scriptures speak of the pretribulation Rapture and of the harsh Judgment that will follow upon the inhabitants of the earth. God would not destroy the wicked by flood until Noah and his family were safe. God would not destroy the wicked in Sodom until Lot and his family were safe. And God will not destroy the wicked during the Tribulation Period until the Church has been raptured away from the earth. The fact that God would not bring judgment in the days of Noah and Lot until the righteous were removed is strong evidence of a pretribulation Rapture.
“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
Amen! Jesus is coming again for His saints, to catch us up into the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Amen and amen! I can't wait 'til that day. Even so come Lord Jesus! No one has to be left behind. Put your faith in the Lord Jesus today, obey his Word and live for Him!
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather, fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
There is no condemnation for them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit.
