The Final Word

The bottom line remains this: Trump did not violate federal campaign finance laws. Why? Because the payments to Daniels and McDougal amounted to a “private transaction,” as the president himself acknowledged, for a purpose he believed to be unrelated to politics.

The president is correct that the payments had nothing to do with politics, and everything to do with brand management.

The “Trump” name is a brand, and that brand is big business. Protecting that brand’s reputation is critical to the business that uses it – just as it is for brands like Pepsi-Cola or United Airlines.

The fact that the man whose name is Trump happened to be a political candidate did not magically transform brand management into a campaign contribution.

Whatever money was paid out was clearly done to protect “Trump” the corporate brand – not Trump the political candidate, just as the Trump business has done before.

In the Justice Department’s memorandum not a single shred of evidence was presented to explain how a legal business expense became an illegal campaign contribution. Speculation, I repeat, 'speculation' is not enough to prosecute so-called “campaign finance violations.” Prosecutors in the SDNY will have a very hard time proving otherwise and making the case for a felony charge.

NOT HAPPENING!!

Judge Nap on Seriousness of Cohen Case

If you're in the liberal camp that the President is in legal jeopardy with the Cohen case then you may want to check out this video and interpret it without the loonie leftist spin. In other words, listen to what he's saying, not what you want to hear.

In the video Judge Napolitano points out that 'IF' Trump paid his lawyer to commit a crime, under the law, that makes him as criminally liable as Michael Cohen. Problem is, (for the loonies) there is no crime since there is no violation of campaign financing laws. A candidate is allowed to spend his own money however he chooses, even to protect his reputation or his campaign. The loonies, always protecting their moral high ground, may not like it but the rule of law wins out....not some wishful thinking from the dreamers. Larger issues not withstanding...lol.

Specifically, what Judge Nap is saying is that the case is independent of the Mullet probe. However, the case is trying to be made by the prosecutors of the SDNY. IF they have sufficient evidence that a crime was commited, a crime that goes beyond campaign financing,
and can show intent to mislead the public then there is a felony, but as it stands now there is no violation of financing laws. Cohen has pled guilty to a crime that is not on the books...no statute.

The problem with liberals is they don't comprehend what they read, which is to say they comprehend only what they want to read. AND, if it doesn't fit with their narrative they spin it, ignore it, or in the case of the dimwits who can't stand to be wrong......delete it.

Judge Andrew Napolitano is a Fox News Senior Judicial analyst but not a fan of President Trump.

Take a hint!

Irony of sweet irony. In case you haven't been paying attention to the liberal media (and why would you), the Clinton's are on tour.....and no one cares. (Maybe try New Jersey, everything is unreal there, including Santa Claus....Ha).

Hard to believe, but an ex-President and an ex-president wannabe, one who received $500,000 for a speech he gave in Russia and one who paid Russia at least a half million for a phony dossier, can't get $10 for a ticket......to either show. And that's Canadian money....(less than $2 bucks real money).

But the real irony is this tour was being touted as a grassroots level attempt to preclude hrc's third shot at another run for the residency....of the Big House. First off, hrc has no grassroots appeal, never has. Secondly, the pay for play cash cow, the Clinton Foundation, can't get a promissory promise for a promissory penny. So, an overpriced ticket to an underpriced speaking engagement is pretty much the same thing as an overpriced payment for services not rendered, political or charitable. Nobody wants to put any more money into false promises, false hope, and especially false ex-politicians.
So I'm hoping the tour encompasses new sights and scenary for the Clintons, something to do as well, because take a hint Hillary, your days of peddaling promises for payments are over. Please though, run again and spend some of your millions for a pipedream (like the Mullet probe)....give some back. The time for you to spend money instead of stealing it is long overdue.

Corsi fights back

Bravo Mr. Corsi,
You've laid out a defensible case against Mullet. Probably won't win, but you've shone a light on Mullets game plan.
A good prosecutor never uses the threat of prosecution as a weapon to prosecute. It's a tactic used by desperate lawyers who have no other recourse. So here's what happened.

Corsi had about 60,000 emails which he turned over to the James gang. Mullet picked one saying it was evidence of a misrepresentation. Corsi applied for an amendment to his testimony and it was GRANTED.
The prosecution, having just granted to amend, overturned their decision when Corsi refused to testify guilty and refused their plea deal which admitted to lieing to investigators. He didn't follow their script so they prosecuted. Corsi filed a criminal complaint against Mullet for forced testimony and coercion.

That's where it stands now. Corsi submitted every requested document. He had 60,000 emails he had deleted (hrc?), and couldn't possibly remember them all. Me neither.

Everyday it's becoming more obvious. This farce has one intent....get Trump and use anybody to hang him. Ignoring Clinton, the Russian dossier, Uranium 1, in which Mullet was involved as a courier of a sample of Uranium to Putin/Russia, the Clinton foundation. These three cases alone have not even been mentioned in the Russia probe. Seriously, who in their right mind could completely ignore it? One answer...a witch hunt with one target in mind....and it ain't Russia.

Answer #2...13 hand picked democratic lawyers most of whom donated to the Clinton campaign. One set of prosecutors, one intent, and one conclusion....Trump did something wrong, we just havent found it yet.

If this probe ever went to court it would have been over the first month. Forty (40) million dollars later, mullet is still searching for a crime.....a Hail Mary. Shame we can't tack it to every registered liberal because they have exhausted our time, our patience and the nation's reputation as a just society.
What a bunch of dimwhits. So it's getting ready to be wrapped up according to inside DOJ officials, the end is near. BUT, after 17 months all it really boils down to is a REPORT of their investigation and then Mullet is going to have to defend it....he will be a witness. And all he can answer is 'yes', 'no', and 'maybe'. And who will be the new Attorney General? Answer.....Trumps pick confirmed by the Senate.

Meanwhile Trump is holding his own bag of classified documents.....lol.

Trumps Triumps

Trump Triumps

President Trump keeps hitting home runs and what do we hear from the bleachers, the cheap seats?

Nothing....they're so far out in left field they couldn't tell you what inning it is. While President Trump keeps scoring run after run the peanut gallery is covering 'chaos' theory and the tabloid section of the National Enquirer. Yeah they have so much to report...the goings on and outs of the administration, what hooker slept with Trump in 1994 and the 100's of virgins they claim he raped, their Hail Mary hope for the Mullet investigation. They seize on every morsel of the daily muse hoping something sticks. The hate, the obsession so palpable they cannot see how he has kept his promises to the country. But the people do and his support keeps growing.

The Heritage foundation came out with a report that President Trump has already completed 64% of his campaign agenda, far more than even Reagan. Yet the downstream media refuses to cover ANY of his accomplishments, not one. They are intent on destroying one man no matter how it effects the country. And all because they got it all wrong and backed another token candidate, (the boon and a loon/woman) that they had all their money bet on, as well as their credibility.

Tax cuts for a record surpassing economy, trade barriers and tariffs, (even China coming on board as their economy is in recession), North Korea, ISIS, border security (the wall is now on the table and will likely be a big bargaining chip), jobs and unemployment for minorities, deregulation, our veterans, renewed pride and confidence in America, and that's the short list.

osama rattled the conservative base that was complacent for 8 years, but we're always quiet and wide awake. No more token presidents... ....no more PC, no more life participation trophies for the whiny amoebas on the left. You are officially out of the loop, liberals have become personas non gratis, an endangered species we are bent on making extinct. We control two branches, the most long lasting effective ones and we'll add to that for the next 8 years. (Demos won't get a shot at the Senate until 2026).

So crow about winning the midterms, by tradition you scraped by. Forget about legislation, you have no policy agenda save trying to resurrect osamacare and the party is so fractured even hrc is trying to become a moderate. Celebrate now because its going to be a short lived win. MAGA
