what happened to the real meanings

As I sit here, i dread tomorrow, as I will be among the many millions, rushing to get the those last few gifts before Christmas arrives. I will have to be among the many people who are more worried about material things than the real meaning of Christmas. What happened to our Christian holidays, why must we make a mockery of them with fictional characters, and lies. I understand that Santa makes it fun for kids, but what isn't fun about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ? After all his gift to us is better in any sense than all other gifts in the world! It is a shame that more kids believe in Santa Clause, than they do in God. If nothing else people, on Christmas morning, before all your children tear in to their presents, stop and tell them why we celebrate Christmas and the about the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ.
