Tradewinds
The girl gave out more line and the kite played and climbed into the sky. The wind was affectionately playing in the afternoon. The kite bowed and danced with it's tail wagging, left and right. She giggled as the kite rose higher and higher. Then it was as if it looked down and shouted - "Come, come on up!""No!" the girl shook her head, "can't do !"
"Yes, you can", said the kite.
She bit her lip thoughtfully before she started laughing again. "You're kidding, it's not possible!"
With a jerk in the line, - "yes, come on. Just climb the line". Before she had time to think, she pulled on one arm, then the other, as to keep her balance. "This is quite hensides. It's insane. It's not possible!"
But up she went, dizzy and lightheaded. The wind got a better hold and it was as if it lifted her into the air. The line was stretched like a vibrant string. It was howling and singing, almost as if it should be inside of her. "It can't be true" - but the kite smiled and laughed at her. She was finally up, holding him tightly. Her eyes followed the line to the ground, with horror and delight - "Oh so high we are!", She turned and stared into the distant. "..and I see land beyond the sea!" He smiled and replied: "that is a whole continent!"
The wind began to get restless and the dance became wilder. "Oh,it's turning!" she cried. "Yes, we are sailing the trade-winds" replied the kite.
She screamed as they began to fall. At first she felt weightless and even as hard she clung to the kite, it still felt that way. Then they began a spin towards the ground. She had closed her eyes as her mind stopped working.
It had been quiet for an eternity. Not a sound. The sun was down and the moon cast it's magical light over the landscape. She let her gaze follow the reflections upon the ocean, coming to a rest at the nacreous shimmering line of the horizon. While listening to the waves breaking against the beach, she sighed, turned and faced the moon.
"Are you there ?", she whispered.
"Uhummm" she heard.
"I know what you are doing !....sailing the trade-winds..", she grinned.
"No" replied the moon, "you do"

Because of the recent events, I have deleted all blogs. A very personal and complex story...which involved someone here which I will not forget. Wish I had heard a word, but..
she will probably smile, as I don't think she imagined looking anything like this, but needed a picture for the music, so...
Now what ?
ah..guess there were more...
