The "snake road"

The road from yunnan china, have 9 bend in the road.the bus driver is local pepole,He is a quite skilled driver, but crazy too, he dont stop talking with friend when he driving, this road to the blue lake 7hours drive , there no train no plane, just bus...

When you travel from Zhongdian to Deqin (Yunnan pref.), you go 180km (6h) along such mountain roads. If the bus driver falls asleep for a second, the bus turns into an aeroplane without wings... But you are right, bus drivers are very skilled. The river (Mekong) is 1000m down the road, and in the middle of the steep slope there is the road. And all of a sudden you see the white peak of Kawa Karpo (over 6000m high), one of the holy mountains of Buddhism!!!! Hmmm, would like to post a photo here, but seems only possible for the author...
