life-lesson

One of the most tragic things i know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today....purple heart

I gave up the pipe dream in trade for reality, and my whole life has changed in the process.... Gone are the struggles and worries of bygone days.... I always and forever will maintain the quiet flame that burns secretly within my hidden heart, but, like all dreams, it is but my comfort, and no longer is my longing..... hug
As always, very poetic, Mr. Easywriter!hug
Good topic scottish 1....That is so true, it is okay to dream and have goals you hope to reach one day, but never miss out on today because you're too busy thinking about what you may have tomorrow, or in a few months time...

Never let a day go by without counting your blessings and enjoying it to the full.... it could just be your last!!!
Swordfish, Well said!thumbs up thumbs up
Hi Scottish, I agree with u. Here we say "nobody is happy of what they have".nothing else to add. Ciao
so true and there r beautiful roses like u in that rose garden

It makes sense that you would not surrender your motivation for that which you have yet to find......so keep dreaming... comfort
You don't end up with what I have without 'ever' having had motivation. And you can't have made it signing your own pay checks your whole life without ever having had motivation. So I don't know what your referring to.comfort Well, actually I do know what the comment is about, but I'll let it be...

No doubt about it, the most productive years have been propelled by me being "balanced" with "feminine"...but just like money, woman come and go too.

For all those that can't figure out why they don't "feel" right, there is absolutely positively 100% no doubt it is because of the lack of an acceptable mate. It is in our design to have a mate, the same as it is in our design to need oxygen to breath. Until you face it, accept it and place reasonable expectations on it, you'll NEVER find peace. And don't forget, we all have defects and there is someone out there that will accept yours, but you have to be willing to accept some yourself, or face a life of unhappiness. Fact.

Even though I've come up empty handed this time, It's been fun and a lot of laughs but it's time to move the hunt. The most successful hunters are those that hunt the smartest and the hardest, and I have my treasured trophies to prove it...cheers
I'd have to agree, though perhaps not so poetically :p

We spend our youngest years in schools learning, then some of us go to uni, but eventually most people end up with their nose to the daily grind. We should be having the time of our lives, not slaving away 8-6 (as now seems more common), coming home exhausted with much of the rest of our lives in apparent disarray...

some of my thoughts :)
