Not sure what to do

Trying to make my mind up on something.

I been playing guitar for years, been in several bands, has done the club thing and so on. I love music and I love preforming live, but it is hard to keep a good stable band together.

I am wondering what the best option would be, keep doing the band thing, or prerecord some music, and put together a solo act. Not as much fun, but it is far more stable, no arguments, and more profitable.

There are pro's and con's to each choice. I am still not sure what the best route would be, maybe I should try a solo act for something different. It don't have to be a permanent thing.

I'll figure it out eventually lol.

iv,e been playinying guitar for a few years myself, never done anything you,ve done yet,just a little nervous at the moment, sounds like you should go solo to me, i,m sure you can make it funny with some funny songs, if thats what you wish,one thing about going solo you won,t have any problems holding a band together. besides it will be good advertisment of yourself.who know what could happen. good luck in your decision...guitar guitar cheers

you have to decide if you want it to be your business or your hobby. you can do what you like if it's a hobby, if ot's to be your business you have to make it pay...like for many artistes, business is not easy to get the hang of. good luck with it. (my son is a musician and facing the same decisions)

Going into music is iffy at best, it never was a stable thing to get into. Its the love of music that makes me want to at least try. Whatever happens, I (hope) I won't regret it lol.
