Does anybody buy cigarettes any more?

How come I can't light up a cigarette in public, without having someone come up to me and say "got an extra smoke?" Do people buy their own cigarettes any more? It's pretty easy to do, you know. Just go into any convenience store, and ask for your brand, and give them money. That way you'll be showing responsibility for yourself, and you won't need to bother me any more.
Single guys out there? What happens when a pretty woman comes up to you and asks you for a smoke and bats her eyes at you? You lose all control of yourself, and dig into your packs to give her anything she wants. And when she gets your cigarette, she walks away with her boyfriend leaving you alone, and with 1 less cigarette in your pack, and you wonder what just happened to you. Want to have a good laugh? The next time a pretty lady asks you for a smoke, show some backbone, and say NO. It's well worth it to see her reaction.

I buy my own smokes...but if somone comes up and wants one i have no problemgiving them one because i know how it feels to run out of smokes but if it becomes a problem and they keep buming, then i woud say NO!!!!!scold rolling on the floor laughing
do you know how to spell etiquette?
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Soon enough it will simply be illeagal to smoke in public.
Most folks i see smoking are standing still, having bummed or been bummed. Just an observation.

I have read a few of your blogs and man you are a negative person wow unreal man, lighten up dude, I am trying to quit smoking and will quit for my own health and even if I had not made this decision to quit, if someone came up to me and asked my for a cigarette I would probably ask them if they needed a light to, whats the big deal you have enough money saved up for them right you have been staying home alone saving money. You no whitespider, your name fits you & I hope one day you can finally see the positive side of things instead of always being so negative.
Personally, I always try to see the positive side of most anything. But when it comes to smoking I can't think of anything good about doing it. When someone mentions smoking, what immediately comes to mind are the horrible health aspects.
I've got a permanent scar at the top of my nose (between my eyes) where I was burned with my own cigarette by the male, of a couple who had asked for a cigarette, each. They were rejected, but now I have this cool scar. confused
