well I have been on the net for a few years and I'm still single anything else is on going ...yes it would be nice to find that speciial someone and meet up and live happy ever after , but I dont have a full time job or own a house or have a spare room to put you in while you are herewave

If you use it right, it is not different of real life dating. There are failures and success.

The trick to avoid, is to stay in touch too long via messages. I would recommend to meet the person ASAP. Otherwise you might start to idealize the person and get disappointed.

Internet dating has to be seen as a tool allowing one to identify singles that are open to a relationship, nothing more, nothing less. IF you start searching for your soulmate, then you'll probably be disappointed. People on dating websites are not better or worse... because they do exist in real life :)

YEH, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO MORE LISTENING AND LESS TALKING HERE SINCE I AM ALITTLE NEW. IT SOUNDS LIKE ALL THE WOMEN HAVE BEEN PLAYING HIDE SEEK. SO MY NEGATIVE IS WHERE ARE ALL THE SINGLE WOMEN? I HAVE TRIED SENDING SOME FLOWERS, BLOGGING, & EMAILS. I STAY POSITIVE, AND TRUTHFULL. WHERE IS THE POSITIVE SIDE TO INTERNET DATING IF THERE IS NO RETURN OF EMAIL AFTER THE FIRST INITIAL SEND. AT LEAST SAY HEY I'M TAKEN, I'M NOT INTERESTED, OR WHATEVER...IT'S LIKE YOU PHONE CALL WITH NO ANSWER. STAY POSITIVE RIGHT...
