@Jim That's a good point. Not everything that happens makes us stronger. But that reminds of actor Christopher Reeve and only he knew if that made him stronger. He certainly seemed to be mostly positive about it though.

yes, Belle there are many people with disabilities of moving who within them are stronger than most of us! Cheers for them!
My point is that it is a common stupid statement.
What doesn't kill you doesn't MAKE you stronger.
Instead what YOU do with the circumstances makes
the difference. You can choose to have this incident
be the motivation to make YOURSELF stronger (or not), but the event itself more likely does the opposite.
Again, it depended upon what I chose to do about it,
not on the events themselves.

Yes, it's just a saying, a common dumb one.
