Distance between Spouse and Family

My mom got injured at her work place so I came back home to help her for a while. My spouse is 600 miles away and can't deal with it and had attempted to hurt herself. I miss her but my family lives far away and I feel if my mom needs me. Its been so long since I have seen her and felt I should be there for her too. Did I make the wrong choice?sigh

No you didn't make the wrong choice. There is nothing more important than family especially parents. They supported us through the years so much, so why can't we do the same for them? People always say that you can always find a next significant other, put there can only be one mom and dad, when they are gone you can't get another one.
If your partner loves you, they will understand that there is no greater love in this world than a mother and her child.
You did the right thing!
