Paris allows women wearing trousers?

Women who want to dress like men, must obtain the permission of the police and provide medical justification for such a step - so says the official existing law in Paris. Recipe from 1799 was rediscovered by Maryvonne Blondin senator.
Prohibition on wearing pants, except for special occasion, introduced in Paris in 1799, just after the French Revolution. Nearly a hundred years later, in 1892, city authorities have modified slightly to the right. Women can walk around in pants, provided that the "hold the reins of a horse." In 1909 provision was once again changed. Women were given more freedom, provided that "go on bicycle, or hold his wheel."
In subsequent decades, the law fell into disuse. In the face of rapid changes in the field of gender, few people saw the trousers as an attack on morality. In 1969, the Paris city council has asked to withdraw the provision. The head of law enforcement, however, refused and stated that "it is unwise to change the records," because in the unforeseeable future, fashion can change.
In 2010 the city council again asked the police to cancel the law, but was again disposed of. The police said that it's "Legal Archaeology" and do not have time to deal with it.
